This was our first trip to Croatia, and my family loved staying at the President Hotel. There was something for everyone here — the beach, the gym, the lounge with live music, the spa, the kids world, the lobby shops, and the many restaurants. And there’s even more shops and more live music within walking distance. The staff was great. We used the concierge to reserve our activities like a boat charter, they secured us an upgraded boat. Highly recommend booking through them. The hotel is quite old and it’s reflected in the state of the rooms. Nevertheless we barely spent time in the room so it wasn’t a big concern for us. We did love the beach view from the rooms.
An unforgettable stay! The private beach was beautiful, and the sunset views were absolutely breathtaking. A special mention to La Mar restaurant, where every meal was fantastic. Ivan provided the best service we experienced anywhere in the city—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back!

Everything is consistently excellent – from the friendly and helpful staff to the beautiful location, comfortable rooms and relaxing atmosphere. The staff truly make a difference. Everyone is welcoming, professional and always willing to help, and we always feel genuinely well looked after. We would especially like to mention Ivan, Bruno and Vedran (Skål Takk!), who we had the pleasure of interacting with throughout our stay. They were always friendly, helpful and welcoming, and truly contributed to making our holiday even more enjoyable. Of course, all the other members of staff we met were wonderful as well. This time, our stay was even more special, and we would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Marić for making our visit such a memorable one. The hotel has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to truly unwind and enjoy your holiday. The president Hotel is a beautiful beachfront hotel. The seaview rooms are spacious and have incredible views of the Adriatic Sea. The rooms are very clean. For such a large hotel the service is very personable. The concierge desk Sara and Nicolina were outstanding and so friendly. Sara went above and beyond to help us find just the right activity when the weather shifted, she took her time and was very informative . Matthieu at the front desk was our first introduction to the hotel and he was so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurants serve wonderful meals. Make sure you don’t miss the outstanding breakfast they offer every morning, fresh omelettes made to order, a fresh juice bar and so many other wonderful things. This property has swimmable beachfront area that also serves food and drinks. It does get very crowded, but we were always able to find seating. Hopefully, you get to meet Luka who was our server and was so positive and friendly and gave such excellent service. There is a restaurant and bar that are open 24 hours which was amazing during FIFA the service here also fantastic. The pool area is very large and has a great view.
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel President Valamar and truly enjoyed our time there. A special mention goes to La Mar restaurant, where the food was excellent. However, what made the experience even more enjoyable was the exceptional service from Duško, our waiter. He was incredibly kind, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our dinner. His warm attitude and genuine hospitality really made us feel special and added a personal touch to our evening.
