The hotel was fantastic. Parking is at the hotel and it’s very close to the start of trail to Labská Bouda and Pramen Labe. Mumlavske Vodopády are 1km away. We had a 29km hike there and the location is superb. Rooms were clean with wide selection of pillows and beautiful view to the nearby ski slope. They are being cleaned daily, though my only concern is that there is no “don’t clean” door badge. Breakfasts were fantastic and the staff is exceptionally friendly. They remembered our room number in a single day and asked how our trip was and where had we gone. We always felt extremely valued. The only negative thing was the lack of vegan food in breakfasts and dinners as my significant other is vegan. However, even then the staff was happy to help, and if we asked early enough, they were often able to make vegan option. If you’re vegan, you may want to let them know early enough. I would definitely recommend
It’s a really nice and cozy hotel. Service is polite. They can take extra wishes with the food. Spa area small, but enough for a few days of skiing and rest. The hotel is on a little mountain. So if you are without car, you have to walk up and down.
Absolutely beautiful modern hotel, with great wellness and tasty breakfasts. The location is amazing and the views stunning. Everything is so great that I give five stars despite the total chaos that was around all our reservations of wellness procedures etc. The receptionists always had a wrong time, or our bookings just disappeared completely. Also the communication from the hotel's side before we arrived was odd overall, with us getting about six messages about booking a spot in the restaurant (?) but no basic info. There could be a big improvement in this, but otherwise everyone was super nice and tried to be helpful.
The Pytloun Hotel is nestled on the side of a hill with idealic views of the skii feilds and surrounding forests. There is a peacefulness that you experience as soon as you get there. Parking is available for guests and if you have an EV your able to charge your vehicle free of charge, ( no joke intended) Apon entering, you feel immediately comfortable as there is a fire burning, shelves with books, a feature stone wall, small coffee tables with all the chairs adorned with sheep skins ! And while we were waiting to be checked in with a free drink , either beer, or wine , we sat looking at the magnificent view out of the huge plate glass window that really allows you to take it all in. After checking into our room ,we immediately proceeded down to the sauna, which again makes the most of the beautiful surrounding views with big plate glass windows including the relaxation area. They really make most of it so you almost feel like your outdoors. Outside of the Sauna and relaxation , there is a deck with an accessible plunge pool for those who have the courage to do so and need cooling off. Upstairs is another relaxation bar area , exclusively for the wellness. The restaurant itself is relaxing with a sound proof kids play area and a window so you can see you kids without having to get up and check on them ! A great idea !!! For dinner I had the ribs which were excellent. The only complaint I had really, was that the beer was served warm and they acknowledged that they needed to something about it. ( the waiter did however offer to put ice in my beer) but I said no thankyou ! Lol. During dinner there was live entertainment which was great, with one of the staff playing not just the drums but many other instruments as well. All in all, it was a very nice experience with amazing views, the service was average however with having to wait for someone to tend you at times from the Wellness bar. Apon leaving we were each given a small piece of cake in a take away box. The rooms were nicely presented and modern with " Chic " bathrooms. The hotel was also dog friendly! We would definitely come back, possibly in winter when the area is covered in snow !
I don't know if it's our bad luck or what considering how many good reviews are here, but it was probably the worst hotel service I've received in Czech Republic, and I've stayed in much cheaper hotels too. A lot of unnecessary attitude from the dinner reservation lady, some staff members were just straight up rude and rolling their eyes on us when we'd politely ask for something. Other staff was polite and kind but would constantly mess up things. Every single restaurant experience was chaotic. Sauna was chaotic too, ceremony schedule kept shifting, they don't start them on time. They also tried to charge us for parking despite it being prepaid. Cups in the room were dirty, kettle full of limescale, the room was very cold and we could feel the cold coming from the sockets. Hot water stopped working twice in a day! I'm adding a star for the beautiful nature and because most staff members actually tried and were nice to us, but it seems that the hotel is generally understaffed, undertrained, and they lack good management. Some good things: food was good, restaurant prices very appealing, also big thank you for using salt instead of chlorine in the pool! Rooms are spacious, there's a hiking trail that starts from the hotel, a lovely friendly hotel cat. The hotel has a huge potential, I hope they can improve their service and step up.
