We had a very nice time here, during Christmas. Clean hotel, albeit a bit dated.
Wonderful atmosphere at the bar, lovely entertainment by the very nice artists during one of the evenings spent there.
Food is good, simple, and varied enough. Good value for money.
Wellness area is not very big, but surprisingly enough for the number of guests. There should be more hangers. Two saunas: a hot one used mostly by adults, and a second one, less hot, where also families with bigger children could enjoy. The water in the pool could have been a few degrees warmer.
The room was very spacious, beds comfortable. I personally did not like the pillows, but nobody else complained. There was a slight smell of mold, which good airing solved; a bit more persistent in the bathroom: our room was at the 4th floor.
I love the Sauerland landscape, and this hotel is placed wonderfully right at the beginning of several easy trails.
Will come back!
We had the all-inclusive package for 4 days. Our room was larger than advertised which was surely nice. The sound insulation and cleaning were a bit below par. Shower is nice and strong. Surroundings are nice and quiet with great views of the Sauerland hills.
Very nice place, rooms are clean ,i would have a choose a different room because mine didnt have a fridge but it was a last minute reservation.
Friendly staff, buffet and menu can improve but theres many restaurants around so you can explore the area that is very beautiful.
Loved the indoor pool, clean nice warm water and open untill 11pm. Great for going on hikes and pet friendly.
Will for sure go again.
The building itself is not the newest, but it is maintained. Rooms are comfortable and clean! The staff is very kind :) Dogs are allowed!
A lot to see in this region, hicking, walk, restaurants, biking, lot of opportunities!
Stayed here a year ago, however i look back at it with love. Would go back! I loved the little drink station in the bar where you can get tea/juice/coffee/beer all day. At least for us. It was nice and clean. 1 star missing because there wasn't many vegetarian options. However making your own waffle in the morning makes up for it!
Oh and the little bowling area, super cool to entertain yourself and others. The pool was also very neat and big. Ideal to exercise, after consuming all the good food.
We enjoyed the stay! Beautiful view! Oh man and the dinner, so good and local too! Oh and we had te biggest room of all. Only thing there was no airco and it was hot because it was on the 4th floor.
Loved the bartender who was Dutch too (i think from Brabant, his name was bart (i think)). If you read this, i would love to chat more😊.
