Overall our stay at Seaside Los Jameos Playa was wonderful. The hotel is very nice, close to the beach and very family‑friendly. The pools, gardens, and facilities created a relaxing atmosphere, and we felt comfortable throughout our holiday.
My son loved the kids club activities as they were very creative with the animation team being super lovely.
A special thank you to Enkeled at reception, who made our experience even better. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived, explaining everything clearly and making sure my family had all the support we needed. His kindness and professionalism stood out, and he is truly an asset to the hotel.
We have just come back from Seaside Los James and I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying as a family. Overall the experience was great, the staff were very friendly, the whole hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms were new but with a traditional feel, the pool was clean and fairly warm and above all the food was exceptional.
If you’re a fussy eater or don’t usually fancy all inclusive food you won’t have a problem here. There are so many options and the best cuisine night in my opinion was either the street food or the south American night. The restaurant itself looks great and staff are attentive.
The only couple of minor downsides we found were the drinks service at the bar and the entertainment for adults.
At the bar we found we were waiting a long time just for a few simple soft drinks or waters, this was from a combination of not enough staff at times, coupled with people ordering cocktails (rightly so) but this meant it took a long while to be served, not the end of the world but a bit frustrating when you want to be sat round the pool.
The other minor downside was the entertainment. The kids entertainment was brilliant, all the animation staff were friendly and enthusiastic but we found the shows after for adults weren’t that great and we usually just ended up sitting in the outside area with some drinks. That said, on Saturday and Sunday they have a DJ at the “milk lab” bar and he was amazing! I would highly recommend going over there at 6-10pm as this DJ was brilliant and he should be on more than just the two nights.
Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here, just maybe go out of holidays if you don’t want lots of kids!
We stayed here in April, and although the weather wasn’t great during the first few days, the hotel pleasantly surprised us with its delicious and varied food. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable—we had one with a beautiful ocean view. The staff is polite and always ready to help. Special thanks to the manager, Kateryna. We would definitely love to come back again.
My family of ten had a really great experience here last week. We were a combo of American and English guests staying for 5 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The main pool is large and kept at a great temperature. It offers a more chill and relaxed scene with people lounging vs playing catch or pool sports, but I can see that changing when it gets to the busiest months. The bartenders and servers are friendly and the drinks were well made. Shoutout to Manuel, Gersson and Andrea who were all great. One thing: it can be a wait to get drinks during the evenings because everyone congregates in the same areas near the entertainment, and they work a little thin behind the bar. The Piano bar upstairs is quicker most of the time.
I saved the food for last as that's the hotel's best feature by a longshot. At every meal, they offered a bevy of menu items that were fresh, well-seasoned, and not overcooked. The fresh fish prepared in front of us was a delicious highlight. I also loved the smoked fish and cold salads, which were creatively assembled and consistently tasty. Everything was really good, and there was something for everyone's preferences. It's a sizable buffet, and it's really impressive when you see them put it out each night with a different and well executed theme.
All in all, it was a really good time and a comfortable hotel that was enjoyable and easy to recommend.
We stayed here end of April with our 2 kids from 6 and 8. We liked the kids pool with the slides, the pool was nice heated. The main pool was also very pretty. Unfortunately we did not like that there was no atmosphere around the kids pool, no music no pool activities, it was very quite. We would have liked some more daily entertainment and games around the pool…also no club dance for example..the Mini disco was very nice in the evening. We didn’t like most shows as there where often singers..the magician shows we did enjoy.
We booked a family room and we got a nice room with sea view, which was lovely. The rooms are not very big for a family of 4. Would have been nice it the kids got 2 single beds instead of a sofa bed.
Then the food and drinks… fabulous! Never seen such a big variety of food in an all inclusive resort! We where very much impressed…food was delicious! Also the drinks and cocktails where amazing, no syrups, everything made from scratch and branded.
We would definitely come back, mainly because of the heated pools and the lovely food and drinks. We only hope there will be more entertainment in the future 🙏
