Throughout our stay, we felt that cutting costs took priority over cleanliness, maintenance, service, and guest comfort. The five-star rating did not reflect our experience at all.
We travelled with small child and were particularly disappointed by the lack of suitable activities. There was no mini disco or evening entertainment for children during our stay. When we asked why, staff told us there were “no children” — while our own child was standing right beside us. It was a dismissive response to a reasonable question. No gozleme at all, just sign.
The food selection was limited and repetitive. At the grill, there was only one type of fish and one type of meat, while the fruit selection consisted of apples and oranges. The drinks were equally disappointing: the alcoholic drinks tasted weak and watered down, and the overall quality was poor. Some food was rotten with disgusting smell.
Cleanliness and maintenance were major concerns. We encountered dirty areas and broken facilities, and the bathroom plumbing was rusty. The beach had litter scattered around, and the large rocks made entering the sea difficult, especially with a young child.
Service made the situation even more frustrating. Staff often did not return a simple greeting, and when we raised problems, we were met with shrugs, excuses, or attempts to blame us rather than resolve the issue.
The atmosphere was also unpleasant at times. Some visitors from russia were visibly intoxicated, shouting, swearing, and smoking around others. This made shared areas uncomfortable for a family with a toddler.
Currently staying here — first day of my second consecutive year at this hotel.
Overall, you get what you pay for, and in a good way. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, and the food is good for the price range. That's exactly why we chose to come back for a second year.
Location is just perfect.
The only things that could be improved are the desserts—whenever there is something really good, it disappears quickly and isn't replenished—and the fruit quality not the best you will find, hope they can improve this.
That said, I would absolutely choose this hotel again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good standard at an affordable price.
One small request: better fruit, please... and maybe save a few pieces of baklava for those of us arriving at 7:45 PM 😆.
Overall: a well-deserved 4 out of 5 stars ⭐.
We are having an unforgettable vacation at Imperial Sunland Resort Hotel! 🌴☀️
The hotel has exceeded our expectations and left us with truly wonderful impressions. The grounds are beautifully maintained and full of greenery, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food is delicious and varied, with a great selection of dishes to suit every taste, including plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, and desserts. We would also like to highlight the excellent entertainment team, the welcoming atmosphere, and the perfect location — the sea is just a few steps away, and the breathtaking mountain views make the experience even more special.
Our stay is filled with unforgettable moments and positive emotions, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and genuine Turkish hospitality.
Our only suggestion for improvement is the Wi-Fi connection on the beach. The signal near the sea is very weak or unavailable, which can be inconvenient for guests who wish to stay connected. We are confident that improving the beach Wi-Fi would make the experience at Imperial Sunland Resort Hotel absolutely perfect.
A big thank you to the entire hotel team for your outstanding service and warm hospitality! We will definitely come back again! ❤️
Good budget 5* hotel. We have enjoyed our stay here. The sea and beach is incredible, a bit pebbly but not a big issue. The water is very clear and there is an option to stay at the beach or a huge pier. The pool is in a good condition too, clean and of a decent size. Food could be more various, however we have never stayed hungry. Rooms could do with a bit of an update, but overall not too bad. To sum up, I would recommend staying here.
We paid a lot of money expecting a high-quality holiday, but we returned home completely disappointed and exhausted. This hotel severely lacks maintenance, proper management, and staff. The overall atmosphere feels more like an old, outdated sanatorium than a modern resort. Here is why you should avoid this place:Awful check-in and room-moving chaos: We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and faced total confusion as they didn't even have a room properly registered for us. After a lot of stress, they temporarily put us in a family room for the night. However, the very next day around lunchtime, we were forced to pack up all our things and move to a different room. This constant moving completely ruined the start of our vacation.Unbearable heat and AC issues: The air conditioning was an absolute nightmare. It turned off randomly during the day and at night, making it impossible to sleep or rest. Even in the evenings, if you wanted to sit inside the lobby to escape the heat, it was boiling hot because they kept the windows wide open instead of running the AC.Lack of deep cleaning and hygiene: While the staff does standard daily cleaning, they completely fail to maintain high cleanliness standards or perform any deep cleaning. When we moved into our actual room, there were clumps of hair left in the bathtub. The rooms desperately need a renovation—I even found black dirt/mold stains near the shower glass that could easily be wiped off with a finger, proving that thorough, deep cleaning is non-existent.Poor facility maintenance: Bed sheets are changed only once every 2 days. When we visited the SPA area downstairs, water was literally dripping from the ceiling, and we noticed a terrible smell of chlorine mixed with mold.No evening atmosphere or safety: At night, the bridge on the beach is completely pitch black because there is zero lighting, whereas all the neighboring hotel bridges are beautifully lit. There is no calm background music in the evenings to relax to.Zero entertainment for kids and adults: There is absolutely nothing for children to do. For adults, the entertainment is practically non-existent—just a billiard table and table tennis. The evening shows were of very poor quality.Food and drinks: While the food itself tasted good, the drinks and cocktails were very mediocre. The hotel is severely understaffed, which ruins the service quality. This was supposed to be an unforgettable holiday, but unfortunately, it is memorable only for the wrong reasons. We deeply regret spending our money here and definitely do not recommend it.
