Yes, Villa List Hotel has facilities suitable for families with children.
Does Villa List Hotel have a spa or wellness area?
Yes, Villa List Hotel has a spa and wellness offering to relax.
I have stayed in Villa list twice now with my family (including young kids) and can honestly say that it offers excellent value for money.
The beach is a minute away and you can easily walk to the old town and it's historic buildings.
The rooms are very good size and are always nice and clean. And this leads me to the bigest positive of Villa list - cleanliness. All the areas of the hotel are very clean (including the restaurant) and at all time of the day you will see staff members cleaning around.
The restaurant was nothing too special but the food they offer was always fresh, delicious and with quite a few options (meat, salads etc).
I will happily visit again and will highly recommend to anyone visiting Sozopol.
This hotel is not worth it, the rooms were very mediocre, shower in the bathroom leaks all over the rest of the bathroom leaving the floor soaked with this being brought up on our first day and wasn’t fixed after 5 days when we left. Main issue with the place is the food and staff. With the hotel being all inclusive we had hoped to eat at the restaurant most days however we had to eat out most days making the all inclusive part not worth it. None of the food is labelled or if it’s labelled it’s very simplistic to the point where no label should be needed, for example all the pastas they made were just labelled pasta, no matter if it had chicken, pork or another meat it would just be pasta. my girlfriend asked for labels or more information of the food as she cannot have some foods to which the staff answered “this is unrealistic and impossible and in a very demeaning tone he then said “do you want us just to cook for you then” as if she was asking for special treatment. Furthermore staff constantly lie about the foods, one night there was a “schnitzel”, even though being German myself I would never label what they served as a schnitzel, which when my girlfriend asked if it was pork or chicken the attendant stated it wasn’t pork and was chicken, she didn’t quite believe this so asked me to try it to which I could instantly tell it was pork. Many times food if it is labelled is also mislabeled, “breaded chicken nuggets” which in fact were breaded feta and pork. Moving on to the staff, my girlfriend is Bulgarian and so made most communication easy however she heard multiple times of staff especially at the reception talking bad and being rude to non Bulgarian guests, the workers also often smoked at the reception. One example is when a lady tried to communicate an issue of some sorts to them to which they obviously couldn’t understand and rather than try use google translate or anything they were speaking bad about her and making fun of her saying for her to only come back once she has learnt English. With this being a so called 4 star hotel I would only barely give this place 2 stars especially compared to other lower star hotels I’ve stayed in before which were much better. Only positive thing of the hotel is its location as it’s very close to one of the beaches. Overall I would only recommend this place if you were to eat out and be at the hotel at a minimum as sozopol in general was very nice.
The hotel is located at a prime location, between the new and old town which makes it very accessible to all of the amenities.
The beach is 2 min walk via the stairways but is not private and you have to pay for using the dinners at the public beach.
The food in the restaurant is of a good quality and lots of variety.
The rooms are cleaned daily, however when we arrived there was lots of sand around the floor so cleaning can be improved. Beds are comfy but pillows are awful and cheap.
The staff is genuinely not very welcoming and clearly they have never worked in hospitality before. Some people were very nice to guests but the general overview is that they are unhappy and overtired and they don’t care much.
Reception is very disorganised with booking their own transfers so be mindful and we almost own missed our flight because of this.
There are lots of stairs and is not child friendly around the resort. No animators,
No child clubs and not Even swings and slides available around for children. Literally, nothing to entertain children and the layout of the hotel makes it hazardous for young children.
Genuinely,I would recommend for 3-5 days but for a proper beach holiday is not worthy especially if you have young once
For the past decade, this hotel has been my absolute favorite getaway. I have visited year after year, and it always delivered an incredible experience.
Sadly, that all changed when they transitioned to an all-inclusive model last year, and I can honestly say I will not be returning.
The drop in quality is staggering.
Previously, the dining was a highlight, but now it feels like a low-budget cafeteria.
The food is consistently served cold and it is clearly mass produced yo cut cost.
The service has suffered just as much as that personal , carring touch is completely gone.
It is incredibly disappoinying to see management ruin what used to be a wonderful hotel just to cram more people in.
If you are looking for quality food and good service, do yourself a favor and book somwhere else.
Very poor customer service; many staff don’t speak English.
Limited parking (about 5 spots) 15€ per Day.
Unfortunately only one elevator for a large hotel; waiting a long time (~10 min).
No mosquito net on the balcony door.
Furniture very old, cracked, broken... this is not a true 4-star hotel—closer to 3 stars at best, closer not even 3 stars... how did you get those stara... just because you have an old safe locker on the room, old telphone, old AC, old furniture, those are not facility that should provide more stars... Honestly... And when I say old I do not mean Retro/Vintage...
Dim lighting in the bathroom, I understand economy... but honestly... you promote a 4 star... and keep people in dark on the toilet... not to mention a very old hair dryer that doesn't work...
Old tv and fridge... Come on...
Kids’ pool is dirty and poorly maintained.
Doors slam loudly, disturbing sleep, and you can see from under the door, people from the hall way...
Food is repetitive and low quality; same meals daily, little variety, only a few labeles... and if I ask staff what food is that... they do not speak English... come on... young staff what they learn on school? How they are hired... and yes to not forgot about questionable freshness... Again you promote a 4 Star hotel...
Some rooms have very small balcony...
Drinks at the bar are inconsistent; staff lack knowledge.
Sunbeds are often “reserved” with towels and left unused... also are very old distroied sundeds...
In conclusion... I do not had any problem IF THIS HOTEL HAD 2 STARS and a lower price... I traveld a lot and seen many in diffrent countries... many of 2 stara hotels that diserved 4 stars, many of 3 stars hotels that diserved 5 stars.
BUT COME ON FOR THIS "4 STARS" YOU REQUEST THIS HIGHER PRICE FOR A ROOM...
ARE YOU SERIOUSLY?
