First of all, I have to emphasize that the level of the all-inclusive service is incredible!
The food is absolutely mouthwatering, and every detail of the dinners is perfectly prepared.
The room was comfortable; however, to be honest, the bathroom needs a complete renovation. It was the weakest part of our overall experience.
The last drawback is that the staff barely can't speak english.
Additionally, the location is perfect. Being close to the national park offers breathtaking views and makes it an ideal place to relax and explore the surrounding nature.
Hope I will have a chance in the future to visit you again!
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. The facilities were good, the property was well maintained, and the overall experience was positive.
That said, there were a few areas where the hotel fell short of what has become standard in modern hospitality. The biggest challenge was communication. This is not necessarily an issue unique to this hotel, as we noticed the same throughout Andalusia, but only a handful of staff members were able to communicate comfortably in English. As a result, we did not always receive all the information we needed and often had to work things out for ourselves.
We also arrived several hours before check-in. The reception team kindly took our phone number and advised that they would contact us as soon as the room was ready. Unfortunately, we never received a call and had to return and enquire ourselves.
Another area for improvement is flexibility. The hotel appears to follow its procedures very rigidly, sometimes at the expense of the guest experience.
We stayed for a total of five nights. The first night was booked through Booking.com because, despite availability being shown, it was impossible to make a same-day reservation through the hotel's own website.
At this point, I would like to address the hotel management directly. As someone working in the hospitality industry myself, I suspect there may be a technical issue or an incorrect configuration within the booking engine. Direct bookings are naturally far more valuable to a hotel than reservations made through third-party channels. In our case, the hotel lost the opportunity to secure a direct booking simply because the website would not allow a reservation for the same day, despite rooms being available. I would strongly recommend investigating this, as it may be resulting in the loss of other potential direct bookings as well.
Because our reservations originated from two different booking channels, we were required to change rooms during our stay. From a guest's perspective, this should have been treated as one continuous stay regardless of the booking source. Many hotels today would find a practical solution to avoid inconveniencing the guest in this way.
To be clear, we enjoyed our stay and would describe the hotel as a good property. However, the hospitality industry has evolved significantly in recent years, and many competing hotels now differentiate themselves through flexibility, proactive service and a genuine focus on the guest experience. Against that backdrop, some of the issues mentioned above feel unnecessary and, more importantly, entirely avoidable.
A good hotel with solid facilities, but there is certainly room for improvement in communication, flexibility and guest-centred service.
We arrived on 6th July 2026 – myself, my husband, our 22-year-old son, and our 16-year-old son.
Having been awake since 1am for our journey, we were exhausted by the time we arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm. Unfortunately, the check-in process took around 35 minutes, and when we finally reached reception, we struggled to communicate as the staff member spoke very little English. We were then told our room wasn’t ready. After waiting for three and a half hours, we only received our room key after returning to reception and asking to speak with the manager. It certainly wasn’t the best start to our holiday.
Sadly, we didn’t feel the hotel was very accommodating for English-speaking guests. As a family, we often felt excluded due to the language barrier. Many staff members struggled to understand us, and we found it difficult to take part in the entertainment because everything was conducted in Spanish or Portuguese. At times, we also felt that some guests made it clear they didn’t particularly want us there, which was upsetting.
I absolutely love Spain and have been visiting since I was a child. I always make an effort to speak some Spanish, but as it wasn’t a language I learned at school, my knowledge is limited. That wouldn’t have been an issue if we’d simply been made to feel more welcome. For example, when we joined the bingo, we were told they would “try to remember” to call the numbers in English, which was disappointing.
That said, the hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We spoke with the hotel director about our concerns, and he was very kind, listened carefully, and genuinely seemed to appreciate our feedback. My only suggestion would be that if the hotel is being marketed to English-speaking guests, then there should be some consideration for them, even if it’s just a small number of visitors. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be advertised on English booking websites. Families with younger children, in particular, may find it difficult to feel included.
On our final evening, there was a singer who included some English songs alongside the Spanish and Portuguese music, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
Overall, we still had an enjoyable holiday because we made the most of it, created our own fun, and met some lovely people from Ireland. Would we return? Probably not. However, I genuinely hope the hotel considers making a few changes so that future English-speaking families feel just as welcome as the Spanish and Portuguese guests.
Been there a couple of times. Nice room and facilities. Love their mattress and bed linen! 🤩
Their breakfast buffet is okay. Their lavazza coffee machine is one of the worst I have had in my life! 😖
In terms of service, my room was missing a chair and I had to request it for my room 3 times. They kept forgetting it! Pretty bad!
Good: The area is huge! Like a small town within a town. Beautiful swimming pools and area around them. Some of the staff were super nice and helpful. People working at the bar, security guys, cleaners. Also looks like local people stay here.
Bad: People working at the reception are arrogant and absolutely unhelpful. Simple requests like bringing a plug for a bath tab, or bringing "Do not disturb" sign were simply ignored. I rarely see such an attitude in Spain. Food at breakfast and dinner doesn't have any flavor. It is very plain - similar to what you get in hotels in Central Europe. Also if you pay for a dinner - you only get water. No sodas included. I brougt a can of ice tea with me, and a waiter tried to scold me for that. I asked to explain this in English, she couldn't and backed off. In general, staff in the dining room is looking sharply, so noone takes that valuable soda from the machines. Disgusting. I strongly recommend eating elsewhere. Same goes for staying at this place.
