Nice place, friendly staff, clean rooms, fair prices. Breakfast was okay, the rooms were a little dated especially the bathrooms but not too bad.
Has two pools, a family pool and a adults only infinity pool. Also a little beach further down the road.
Take note that unfortunately both pools at this hotel close extremely early. They are both closed be 7pm therefore a night swim is not possible.
Such an amazing hotel!
Everything is kept clean so I felt very comfortable. The views are incredible especially at the relax pool. The staff is very polite and welcoming. It was a real pleasure to talk to them. The food is delicious especially the Greek dishes. The free bus transport to the beach and Molivos is a big advantage. Not many attractions for the children. I really recommend this place for relaxing!
We had a terrible experience at the Belvedere Aeolis Hotel. While lying by the pool, in the middle of July, with hardly any wind, an umbrella flew up and injured me. When I went to reception, they only gave me cotton and alcohol, and despite me saying they should be more careful, I didn't see any interest. Half an hour later, another umbrella from a different sunbed flew up and hit a family of three. Luckily, they weren't injured like me. This is a hotel that can't even secure its pool umbrellas and doesn't even apologize to its guests. I definitely do not recommend it; be careful not to get injured!
It was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had.
Although the hotel looks nice in the listings, it's nothing like that in reality. The hotel is located 65 km from the city center, and the only transportation is a bus that runs just four times a day on the island. Otherwise, you're forced to take a taxi and pay an exorbitant price, as the hotel offers no shuttle service to the center whatsoever.
Even if you take the bus to Molyvos, the walk from the bus stop to the hotel takes 40 minutes, and there’s no transportation available! The hotel has a completely useless shuttle that only runs four times a day. And since the shuttle times overlap with the bus schedule, it's absolutely impractical. Moreover, the hotel shuttle doesn’t even drop you near the stop—it leaves you in a remote, unrelated location that’s a 25-minute walk away!
The hygiene at the hotel was a disaster! The rooms were the most disgusting I’ve ever stayed in. We couldn’t rest for the first three days due to the mosquitoes in the room, and during the last two days, we saw centipedes, ant swarms, and even a lizard inside.
When we reported it to the reception, they showed no concern and responded with a "so what?" attitude. After insisting, they sent someone for cleaning, but the person couldn’t get rid of the creatures—on the contrary, they scattered all over the room, and we had to change rooms as a result.
The pool, unlike how it appears in the pictures, was dirty and full of bugs. So we didn’t use the pool at all, except on the first day.
Also, despite repeatedly informing the reception, someone entered our room for cleaning without permission. It made us feel very uncomfortable.
I will never stay here again. The island is beautiful, but I highly recommend finding a different hotel.
They where very attentive, which was nice. The rooms are old, but Cozy. The food and service was great, bit when it's warm the location away from Molivos is far, and the shuttlebus only travels 4 times a day, which is a bit small.
