This hotel is wrongly advertised as 4 star.
At 240Euros per night (with buffet breakfast) this resort is not worth the spend. They advertise themselves as an all inclusive wellness resort but they ask for extra charges to use the sauna.
They don’t have air conditioning on in any of the shared spaces ie. lounge, foyer, gym so the spaces feel humid and dirty.
The gym has broken equipment and a very bad smell.
Our room has a bad smell and we found hair on the bathroom floor. I brought this up to the reception but the comment was ignored.
The water temperature in the shower constantly changes from very hot to cold.
The breakfast: I was told to pay extra for a coffee made with the coffee machine (absolutely ridiculous). The eggs were old and a very low quality standard of food was provided. Also, mid breakfast on a 28 degree day… I watched the staff turn off 2 of the air conditioners.
The staff are lovely but it is evident that management are portly training staff.
The lack of consistency in temperature control as well as the bad smells makes us feel as they are running the resort in a low cost manner (even though they are charging higher prices)
Overall this experience was very underwhelming and much below Greece 4 star standards.
The resort facility looks nice, but the area around the resort, the beach and the roads was very dirty. The reception staff was very kind and had good service trying to make you upgrade to VIP rooms the second you arrive.
I booked two rooms for arround 1900€ for four nights. the rooms looked very nice until you go to bed or take a shower, there was ants in the beds crawling on us when sleeping, and the shower had unstable temprature, hot water burned us and cold shoched us.
I had a wonderful stay at Olympus Resort Villas & Spa in Plaka. From the moment I arrived, everything about this property felt peaceful, beautiful, and thoughtfully curated.
The breakfast buffet was a standout—fresh, delicious, and full of variety. One of my favorite touches was the fresh-squeezed orange juice made from oranges grown right on the property. It doesn’t get more special than that! Every morning felt like a small luxury.
My room was very comfortable, clean, and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with olive trees throughout and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. You can enjoy these views from many areas of the resort, and they’re just as magical in person as they look in photos.
The nearby beaches are beautiful and easily accessible, and the swimming pool on the property is another great place to unwind. Whether you want to explore, swim, or relax and take in the scenery, this place offers the perfect balance.
If you’re looking for a serene, scenic, and thoughtfully run resort, this one is perfect.
Do note, while there are taxis in town, there is no Uber. The property is very willing to call a taxi for you, and the cost to get to town is about 12 euros each way.
We were a family of five, and suffered from a lack of space and privacy. Also, the room had bad smell. There was no hot water from 23:00. The swimming pool wasn’t good. The breakfast was nice.
We had mixed experience. The hotel looks nice, it is interestingly decorated, but it is also very badly maintained. We received our room (family room) with hair, dust and smelling, especially the bathroom. We asked to be cleaned in order to accept it.
The food was lacking any taste or variation. The breakfast is quite basic, same things for a week, sometimes we had the feeling that even the omelette was re-heated from the previous day.
What really frustrated us was the offering and interaction with the reception lady. We paid more for a “special offer” than on their website as we got included VIP access to a club (access was actually free for most of the beds during the week) and on the last day we asked to extend our stay with one more day. Again she offered us a bigger price than on their website. When confronted that we would better buy from the website (50€ less/night) she told us that if we take that she would have to move us to a basement room and then the offer from the website disappeared. Also the online offers from booking for family rooms disappeared. We felt so scammed that we decided to move to another nearby hotel.
The hotel would have good potential, too bad it is so lousy managed.
