A great hotel and great experience. It's not cheap but totally worth it. Rooms are luxurious, beds and linen are great. Hotel service men and women are the best, starting in the reception, the club car drivers, the clean lady, all. most of the foods aren't vegen, so for them it can be problematic. And the hotel is great but nothing to find on walking distance other then the beautiful. Beach. Water park is medium size but all ages can enjoy spending time there. And the hotel is super clean and well maintained. Would recommend.
We had a great stay as a family of 3 with a 1 year old. The staff were incredibly accommodating with a special mention to the Delux Restaurant staff, Enzo was brilliant and did all he could to help during tricky travel period and Marvin and the rest of the team made every meal time very special for our little boy.
Our bed dipped in the middle, and the room could do with a refresh as a few of the doors and shutters were broken, but it wasn’t a big enough issue for us to raise it with the team so I can’t say they even knew.
The food was fantastic, especially in the Delux area, having chef prepared food at a high quality every morning and night is rare in an all inclusive so we were impressed.
There’s not much to do locally immediately outside the resort, beaches are a little disappointing etc, but we would certainly return.
Disappointing Experience for a 5-Star Resort
Having recently stayed here this is my review;
Having stayed at several 4- and 5-star all-inclusive resorts, I unfortunately felt this resort fell well below the 5-star standard I would expect. Personally, I would rate it 4 stars at best.
We stayed in a double ‘Relax swim up room’
Staff & Service
Some staff members were rude and unwelcoming, and the service was often disappointing. We waited around an hour for a plaster, housekeeping entered our room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign, and reception didn’t ask for feedback at checkout. However, there were also friendly and helpful staff members.
Food & Drinks
The food and drink selection was limited for a 5-star all-inclusive resort. The self-service coffee was poor, cocktail choices were limited, and some drinks tasted watered down. The ice cream selection was disappointing, and seeing food that appeared mouldy was particularly concerning.
There was also far too much self-service, with limited table and poolside service, which took away from the premium all-inclusive experience.
The Greek à la carte restaurant was excellent, with friendly staff, great service and delicious food. The Relax Area bar was also very good, although the Activity Area bar fell short in comparison.
Rooms & Cleanliness
The rooms need significant refurbishment. We noticed mould, damaged furniture, ripped bedding, areas that hadn’t been cleaned properly and shower doors that didn’t close correctly. The beds were comfortable, but overall, the rooms didn’t meet the standard I’d expect from a 5-star property.
Pools, Activities & Entertainment
Pool and waterslide supervision was concerning, with lifeguards appearing distracted and not staying at their posts. Daytime entertainment and activities for adults and children were also limited, although there seemed to be more staff and activities on our departure day.
The Decades music entertainment was a highlight, and the blues-style band was enjoyable.
Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi was unreliable, repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting in different areas of the resort.
Overall
There were some positives, particularly the Greek à la carte restaurant, the Relax Area bar, the comfortable beds and some of the evening entertainment. However, issues with cleanliness, room maintenance, food quality, drinks, service, pool supervision and activities significantly affected our stay.
I would recommend choosing the Deluxe option if you decide to visit, as it appears to offer a better experience. Nevertheless, based on my experience and speaking to others, I would personally spend my money elsewhere.
With investment in refurbishment, improved food and drink standards, better staff training and more consistent service and entertainment, this resort could be much better. Unfortunately, it currently falls short of the 5-star experience I would expect for the price.
1st time I've been on a package holiday for a long time and will be the last. Was really disappointed with this hotel. There seems to be two halves to it, the deluxe side and the Benidorm TV programme side.
On the plus side the hotel itself is very nice, the staff were friendly. The room we had was spotless and cleaned everyday. Despite it being very hot the room was always nice and cool when we returned.
Unfortunately thats where it ends. The hotel is too large for the amount of pool space. Whilst the pools are nice goodluck getting a sunbed. There was the usual battle of the sunbeds every morning, if you wanted one getting up at 6.30am to drop your towels on them was a must. No policing of them at all. I noted sunbeds were reserved for several hours with people not appearing until lunchtime. This resulted in us going to the beach instead and paying for a sunbeds there. Due to family bereavements this year this holiday was to be an all inclusive relaxed time. Instead we ended up paying a fortune outside of the resort.
Meal times were stressful and absolutely chaotic. The dining room was crazy noisy, more like feeding time at the zoo than a 5* hotel. The food at best was OK, but not what I'd expect for this level. The theme restaurants were bloomin awful with very little choice. Actually would have enjoyed eating in a chimpanze enclosure than here.
In conclusion, the deluxe side may be the good experience, but the main aspect was not good at all. Didn't really get to enjoy the all inclusive side, stressful, noisy not very relaxing at all. Very similar to an upmarket Benidorm. I've been all over the world, this is not 5*!
Overall this is an amazing holiday for families. We bought our just turned 4 year old and 18 month old. We had the swim up room in deluxe. Room was a decent size with a nice pool. With deluxe you gwt access to your own restaurant. We went the the first two days for breakfast and dinner. Its quieter but the main buffet has so much more choice so we used that. The ice cream parlor, noodle bar, snack bar and food truck are all decent. The splash park is awesome for small children. It opens from 10-1 and then 2 till about 5 or 6. There are plenty of little shops within seconds if not a few minutes walk from the resort. And the main strip is about 10-15 minutes walk. All types of food of site. If you like gyros go to Zeus. Its really affordable and really really good. The best meal we had was sushi at a place called oki on the main strip. The best thing we've found is the entertainment. There is really so.much for children. From tots going to creche *paid* football academy, and a whole host of things. I thi k I read there's about 200 different things. The H.V team are the real starts. Great with kids even when there on break. Always helpful and friendly. The little disco from 7.30.pm each night was great. Best family holiday we've been on. One negative which has nothing to.do with the hotel is we got bitten alot. The amount of money I spent i bug relepent was crazy. Of you have children gwt the little stick on patches before you travel. These are brilliant for children.
