Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. It was the most expensive hotel I have paid for a holiday so far, yet based on our experience, it was not worth even half of the price we paid.
From the very beginning, we had problems with the room. It had clearly been prepared for two people, with one large bed and another bed that was extremely small, more suitable for a child, even though we were two adults. Another thing that really surprised me was that using the safe in the room required an extra fee. In every other hotel I have stayed at during my holidays, the safe was included in the room price.
There was also a very unpleasant smell outside our room, similar to the smell of sewage, which made the area uncomfortable.
The food was another major disappointment. Almost every day, the food was exactly the same, with very little variety. After 2–3 days, the meals became so repetitive that our bodies simply started rejecting the food. For a hotel at this price level, I expected much more variety and better quality.
The beach was also much farther from the hotel than it appeared in the photos. The pictures gave the impression that the beach was right next to the hotel, but that was not the reality. At the beach, the alcohol selection was very limited, with only beer and wine available. The beer was poor quality, while the other drinks were not original and tasted heavily diluted with water and artificial ingredients.
During the day, the pool activities were mostly children’s games, which were repetitive and the same every day. There was very little entertainment for adults. In the evenings, there was practically nothing interesting happening. People would simply sit around in the outdoor areas with very little to do.
Overall, considering the amount of money we paid, our expectations were much higher. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to meet them in almost every aspect. The price-to-quality ratio was extremely poor, and based on our experience, I would not choose this hotel again and would not recommend it for a holiday.
For us, this was unfortunately the worst hotel experience we have had so far.
We had a lovely family holiday at the hotel. Great food, pools, water slides and a lovely beach. Also enjoyed the forest walk by the beach. Entertainment team were excellent and we enjoyed the karaoke. Very clean hotel, excellent rooms and comfortable bed. Free water bottles in fridges all over the hotel. We would definitely come to this hotel again :)
The animation team at Laguna Beach Alya Resort was absolutely amazing! They were always smiling, full of energy, and made every day so much fun for both adults and children. There were plenty of activities throughout the day, and the evening shows were entertaining and well organized.
What impressed us the most was how friendly and welcoming the team was. They made everyone feel included without ever being pushy. Their positive attitude and enthusiasm created a fantastic holiday atmosphere.
A huge thank you to the entire animation team for making our stay so memorable. You truly made our vacation special, and we hope to see you again next year!
I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would happily return. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive. Check-in was smooth and quick, which set a positive tone right away.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the little details provided. Housekeeping did a great job each day.
The hotel’s location was also a big plus—convenient for local attractions, transport links, and nearby restaurants, which made exploring the area very easy.
The restaurant’s à la carte menu is a must-try—it was so good and definitely a highlight of our stay.
A special mention to Ozgur, one of the waiters—he was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and really went above and beyond, especially taking the time to play with my baby nephew. That personal touch made our stay even more memorable.
Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would happily stay again in the future.
This hotel has the best service I have ever had in alanya and I've been to a good few. The hotel is stunning. The rooms are a good size. The staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned well once you figure out you have to press a button at the door. The waiters like to have a laugh with you. They are all lovely. Only downside to the hotel is the hill it sits on. If your fit and healthy it's easy but it's a bit steep for disabled people
