We have just returned home from spending a week at this hotel and we had a wonderful time. We booked all inclusive last minute and it was more than reasonably priced so we weren't expecting the ritz but we were pleasantly suprised. Yes the hotel is older but it has alot of character, it's not another faceless and clinical hotel, we loved the vintage furniture dotted around! The beds were huge and so comfortable, we all slept like logs! I don't like aircon so was happy to see a ceiling fan in the rooms, our room was cleaned everyday and the hotel itself was spotless. Even though the pool area was cleaned every day by staff, I only wish other guests would put their rubbish in the bin around the pool, scruffy behaviour! The restaurant had so much choice, something for everyone, we had a 4yr old and teenagers and they had full plates every day and cleared them. If you came here and complained about the food then I am afraid to tell you that you are the problem. Every member of staff were friendly and hard working. The beach was perfect and the front has lots of shops and bars/restaurants. If you are British and want Butlins abroad and need to be entertained every second of the day then don't come here but if you want to know you are in Spain and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in the sunshine with your family then this is the place for you 👌
Honestly could have given this hotel a 4-star review until the third day of our trip, when a massive group booking of children came to the hotel for three days to take part in a local football tournament. These children were absolutely wild, to the extent that I was scared that my children were going to get hurt. Not once but twice I was in the jacuzzi pool with my 9-month old baby and groups of teenagers dived into the jacuzzi right next to us and nearly landed on him. The lifeguard attempted to eject them and they laughed in his face - where is the authority? He just gave up. The restaurant at meal times was a disgrace with them chanting and screaming. It was so loud that my baby was covering his ears and crying. It was so bad that we skipped meals and just ate from local places. We couldn't use any of the facilities that we had paid for for a whole three days - how is this ok? A room on our corridor had their door covered in wet, soiled toilet paper and crisps thrown all over the floor which we reported and it was still there the next day. The manager did call us to apologise and sounded exasperated, but you did this to yourselves and should be utterly ashamed for taking on such a ridiculous booking - what seemed like no more than 20 adults to over 100 children, with the children left unsupervised to roam around the hotel and do whatever they want. Other than this huge issue which ruined half our stay, the food was average and sometimes mis-labelled which is really dangerous. The selection of drinks was good though. It's not great to only have a couple of cold things and crisps as snacks between meals, especially when dinner is so late in the day. Having to hand your room key in constantly was a pain too - why not just have wristbands like anywhere else? It felt more like full board than all-inclusive. The room was ok, however we had to be moved at first as our air con didn't work and our baby was too hot in bed. The second room (now a pool view) wasn't great either, but better air con, but then baby couldn't sleep from the noise of the entertainment that was deafeningly loud. We didn't want to complain again to be honest as it had been such a long day and we didn't want to seem like we were just complaining, so we stayed up past midnight with baby every night which wasn't ideal. We were travelling with my parents, one of whom is disabled, and Love Holidays informed the hotel in advance that my parents needed an accessible room. And, of course, they weren't given one and needed to complain to reception. This was rectified, but after a day of travelling the last thing you want to be doing is complaining and moving rooms around. That being said, all our rooms were spotlessly clean which was wonderful. The highlight of the holiday was honestly the staff. They are a credit to the hotel, especially Evangeline who works as a waitress in the restaurant. She was so amazing with our little boys and really looked after us - so thank you, Evangeline. The receptionists were all very nice and very apologetic when it came to our complaints about the problematic children, and honestly, they looked exhausted with it. This hotel needs to look after it's staff's wellbeing better, as well as it's guests. The housekeeping staff were amazing and so good at what they do. Their attention to detail is wonderful and they do an incredible job. The location of the hotel was great and access to the beach was easy. Walking along the beach in the evening was a highlight of the trip. Overall, our stay was rather disappointing. This was my youngest son's first holiday and our first holiday as a family for over 3 years that we saved up for and it was such a let down. We didn't feel safe, or cared about, and that was the worst part. Being told to just "wait a few days until they leave" when you are worried for your childrens' safety is honestly downright unacceptable. Had this not happened we would probably have considered another stay in the future which is a shame. Please, I implore you, don't take another booking like that.
We just returned from a lovely 7-night stay and overall we were really pleased with the hotel. The resort is stunning, especially the huge pool area which looks magical at night with the beautiful lighting. Food was very good with plenty of variety. We never got bored over the 7 days — there was always something tasty for everyone in the family. Rooms were decent and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor with a balcony. We were a bit nervous about the height at first, but we got used to it and managed fine. The view was nice too. The pools were one of the highlights! There’s a great kids’ pool and the water slides were a massive hit with our children. They spent hours there. We especially loved the heated pool and the hot tub — they were brilliant after a long day and perfect for relaxing in the evening. The entertainment team was excellent. Special shout-out to Stefan and Ivan — they were really friendly, energetic and made the evenings fun. We particularly enjoyed the darts and archery activities. We had a really nice family holiday here and would definitely recommend this hotel. The facilities are great for families with kids. Thank you to the whole team!
-Really good beds -The restaurant was really good. In all inclusive hotels I usually get bored at the food at the end of it , but here after 10 days I kept finding really tasty food over and over (not so much as for the amount of options , but rather because food was just just plain tasty :) My partner has a very different food taste and she found the same good experience for her food taste -and one of the highlights was the personnel . Very kind and helpful and made my stay much better . Too many names it would be unfair to list them here but at the restaurant, bars and reception (plus kids animation ) , it was very professional and really, bravo.
So much to like about this hotel. Exceptional location. Beds very comfortable, plenty of hot water and, although rooms could do with a bit of updating, they were perfectly adequate. Pool area was fabulous with sections for all ages. Buffet food was very good with plenty of choice. Grill and pancake area manned by chefs. All the staff were helpful, kind and friendly. Expected more from the organised entertainment. Perhaps evening events by the pool was too large an area for number of attendees? Charge for parking at the hotel was extortionate and unnecessary. Plenty of free parking, 5/10 minute walk away. Overall would highly recommend the hotel. Also try 'Malibu' bar, 2 minute walk from hotel!
