This is simply not a 5-star hotel. In my opinion, it is closer to a 3-star experience.
The entire hotel feels old and outdated, and the overall condition does not match what you would expect from a 5-star resort. The food was also very disappointing - most dishes were bland and lacked flavour.
The service was another major issue. Very few staff members speak English, which is already inconvenient for an international hotel, but more importantly, the reception staff often made us feel as if we were bothering them whenever we had a question or needed assistance. The overall attitude was not particularly welcoming.
What surprises me the most is that the owner of the entire Seaden hotel chain apparently also lives at this hotel. I honestly wonder whether he is aware of the hotel’s current condition and guest experience. Does he actually walk around the property and see these things, or does he simply not notice them?!
P.S. There are also several animals around the hotel, and I felt particularly sorry for the dogs. I understand that the situation for stray animals in Turkey is unfortunately difficult in general. However, there are many organisations that work to rescue these animals and find them new homes. We actually adopted our own dog from Turkey, and we couldn’t be happier with her. I really hope the hotel could consider doing more to help the animals around the property.
Amazing hotel! Everything was very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, and the service was excellent. The food was delicious with a wide variety of choices every day. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!
Before travelling, we began to read reviews and were quite worried about what we would find. On our arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the hotel. We were shown to our rooms and as it was early hours of the morning we were hungry so went down to the resturant to get a snack and a drink. We sat outside and watched the sun rise. We found it funny that there were chickens roaming around, a bunny, turkeys and lots of cats but it didnt really bother us. Food was fab, your typical all-inclusive but it was changed around so different options were available. We preferred the lunches to the other meals. Not sure why. We went to all 3 a la carte resturants, Asian, Italian and Turkish. They were all very nice. The pools were great with entertainment in one, the pool party was brilliant. We also enjoyed the in door pool when the outside pools were busy. The beach is a minute or two walk from the hotel and is specifically for the hotel guests only. It had lots of shade, a bar and plenty of beds. There are plenty of shops in the hotel or a few minutes walk outside the hotel. They have a massage and Turkish bath facility in the hotel also (an additional cost) Rooms were cleaned daily, staff were friendly. Not a lot of English speaking staff but we made it work. There was a lovely patisserie to go to in the hotel during the day and a lovely cafe for iced coffees in the evening. Lots of quiet areas to sit and relax. The evening entertainment was fab. The kids disco was the same every night but they loved it. There were lots of kids activities through the day although the kids in our family didnt join in, it looked fun.
We had the best time. Didn't need to leave the hotel as so much on offer but plenty of places to go if you want to. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel. It also has a kids arcade. They have 2 bowling lanes also but again at an extra cost.
This is my third time visiting Turkey, and they don't say 'third time's a charm' for nothing. This hotel radiates warmth and hospitality, which is the most important thing of all. On top of that, the cleanliness is top-notch, the food is excellent, and the beach and pools are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort to everyone, especially families with young children! I will definitely be back.
If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.
This was supposed to be a special holiday because I was celebrating my birthday. Instead, it became one of the worst holidays I have ever had.
While my husband was already seriously unwell after eating at the hotel, I spent my birthday locked in our room, vomiting for hours instead of celebrating. It completely ruined what should have been a memorable occasion.
The management showed very little empathy or professionalism. Communication was extremely difficult because most of the staff, including the management, spoke very limited English. Every simple conversation became frustrating, and whenever we raised serious concerns, we felt ignored rather than helped.
One of the most humiliating moments was being chased by members of staff who accused us of not paying for fresh juices that were never ours. After they eventually realised they had made a mistake, nobody gave us a genuine apology. Instead, a plate of fruit appeared in our room, but some of the fruit was already rotten. If that was their way of apologising, it only demonstrated the poor standards of this hotel.
The food was by far the biggest disappointment. The quality was extremely poor, many dishes were cold, overcooked or undercooked, and much of the fruit looked old rather than fresh. After what happened to both of us, I no longer felt safe eating in the hotel and spent the rest of the holiday worrying about getting sick again. We ended up eating outside the hotel despite paying for an all-inclusive holiday.
Although the hotel has nice pools, decent rooms, a good spa and facilities for children, none of those things can make up for poor management, the food quality, the lack of customer service and the way guests are treated when something goes wrong.
This is advertised as a five-star hotel, but our experience was nowhere near five-star. A beautiful building means nothing when guests leave with ruined holidays, health concerns and terrible memories.
I will never return, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with children. There are far better hotels in Antalya where guests are treated with respect and can actually enjoy their holiday instead of worrying about their health.
