For me, this hotel is perfect. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Underground station. The coach to Stansted Airport also stops nearby. There is a grocery store, Starbucks, and Joe & The Juice just around the corner.
The rooms are very small, but comfortable and have everything you need.
The best part of the hotel is the reception area – it's so cosy and welcoming. Guests are offered complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or even wine. After long days of walking around London, a nice cup of tea was always appreciated.
The staff were incredibly kind to my daughter and me. Every day they offered her hot chocolate and cookies, which made her feel very special. I especially remember one member of staff who worked almost every afternoon during our stay. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was exceptionally friendly, and her kindness made our stay even more enjoyable.
We stayed at the hotel from 15 March to 19 March, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to London.
I stayed at The Z Hotel Victoria for three nights and it was exactly what I needed. As a solo traveler, it was a perfect fit. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, you may want something a bit more spacious, but for one person exploring London, I couldn't have asked for more.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and having both a private bathroom and air conditioning was a huge plus. Those amenities can be surprisingly difficult to find in the UK—especially in such a central location at a reasonable price.
The location is outstanding. It's literally steps from Victoria Station, an easy walk to the coach station, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, pubs, and anything else you might need. While the Victoria neighborhood itself is a little more upscale than my personal taste, the hotel has a welcoming, unpretentious feel despite its boutique style.
What really stood out was the staff. Every interaction was friendly and professional, and having someone at the front desk 24 hours a day was incredibly reassuring. They stored our luggage when we arrived before check-in and even offered to deliver it to our room if it became available while we were out exploring. Free filtered drinking water was also a thoughtful touch.
The late checkout option ended up being worth every penny. We had been at a festival the night before and didn't get back until around 1 a.m., so having those extra hours to sleep before heading to the airport made a world of difference.
Overall, this hotel delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable, well-run place to stay in an unbeatable location without paying luxury hotel prices. I'd happily stay here again on a future trip to London.
Extremely clean hotel with a new and modern structure, everything was very well-lit and well maintained, it's also a good value for money especially considering the location. The room is pretty tight though and can feel slightly claustrophobic (because our room had no windows at all). My bath towel was also shedding a lot of lint every time I used it to dry myself, which was a little annoying. Overall, a good and practical option.
This was a perfect hotel for our transport links when we visited London for a concert.
We arrived earlier than our 3pm check-in time, but the room was ready so the staff allowed us to access the room.
The weather was so hot outside and the room had air con which was an absolute god send. The room was small but had all that was needed for a night's sleep, double bed, bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's down to preference.
Down in the reception the staff were super friendly and very helpful.
Due to us being a Z member, we were giving complimentary hot drinks and cheese & wine were available too if required.
The next day, we were able to leave our bags to go do some sight seeing before returning home.
Would definitely use again.
It's London, so yes the rooms are a little snug, but the service and what you get for your money is fantastic. Amazing staff, great prices, super accommodating, friendly and a lovely atmosphere all round. The 24/7 bar is brilliant, being a member is free And you get free wine and a cracker board so couldn't be happier really! Beds and pillows are super comfy and no noise disturbance which was lovely. Thanks for the stay!!
