For a reasonable priced hotel I think it is great. It has got everything you need. Hotel is right on the beach front. Surrounded by bars and restaurants. Play areas and arcades local too. Hotel Food is good, staff are friendly. Entertainment staff are great, even spoke English. The rooms are dated but everything's works great, beds are comfy and it's very clean. Very spacious too. All the public areas are cleaned constantly. The only thing is doesn't have is a baby pool. But the main pool is a gradual pool so there is plenty of shallow space.
My family and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel - with the overall appearance and amenities of the hotel, the surroundings, access to the beach, the connecting path for pedestrians and cyclists, barrier-free access to the beach, a security gate to the hotel garden.
I would also like to thank you for the very wide range of options in the restaurant, bar, self-service area by the pool and the possibility of small tapas during the day. Even if you find breakfast with the children, sometimes they tell you after a few minutes of leaving that they are hungry again and so I was glad that there was always something.
I would also like to really appreciate the attitude of the staff. We met friendly, kind and always very helpful employees from the reception, cleaners, bartenders, waiters, the saleswoman in the souvenir shop to the delegate, the bus driver (who took us from/to the airport), animators and lifeguards by the pool.
The animation program so excited our children that they forgot about modern technology and instead asked if they would play darts, mini golf, or shoot a bow. In the evening they looked forward to the mini disco. Then the evening program followed, where we had the opportunity to listen to live music, see acrobats or flamenco dancers.
Thank you again for an incredibly beautiful vacation and we wish everyone all the best 🍀💚
We’ve had so many issues it’s hard to note them all down:
The worst issue being that we complained to easy key regarding a lot of these issues one being that we had apparent damp and mould in our bathroom. Easy jet on our behalf have mentioned this to the hotel and in order to cover there backs they snuck into our room after cleaners had been and painted over the mould - little did the hotel staff know that I had taken a picture with a time and date stamp to send to easy jet! At 9:57 the mould was there and when we arrived back to our hotel in the evening it had been painted with what I’m assuming would be anti mould paint . We noticed this due to an odd fume like smell, my three year old with asthma went to use the toilet and was coughing. Which is when we noticed the ceiling had been painted, my partner reached up to touch this and the paint was still wet meaning it had been done recently ( especially considering we had aircon which would dry the paint a lot quicker had it been done hours before) I confronted hotel staff who initially denied this until I showed proof, no wet paint sign or anything to show they’d done something to the room this could of resulted in an asthma attack for my son. The food is awful, the snack bar is worse. Don’t bother booking all inclusive as people with out write bands help them selves to the ‘ all inclusive snack bar’ as it is poorly monitored. Th staff are extremely rude except for a minor few who our helpful, they speak Spanish mainly and seem to dislike British tourists. A bar advertised is shut. And despite being all inclusive additional costs occur for cocktails so not all inclusive at all. There’s so much more but many other reviews on trip advisor ect will prove my point on how bad this hotel is. I’ve stayed in many cities in Spain Malaga, Mallorca ect and have never had an issue, I’ve only stayed in 4/5 star hotels and let me tell you it would be generous to give this hotel a 3. Staff need training in customer service. Also safety protocols not enforced for example my 3 year old used the slide on our first day and wasn’t measured for height restriction ect - on the second day he was. All entertainment is in Spanish - no translation for the brits, French ect. Hard to get involved in activities due to this. Read trip advisor reviews the hotel practically justifies there behaviour- I’ve never left a negative review anywhere I’ve stayed before but this is sadly my first. Not family friendly , not friendly to any tourists other than those who are Spanish - avoid!!!!!
It’s in a quiet and peaceful area, close to the sea. The sand on the beach reminded us more of tiny pebbles rather than classic sand. Strong waves, but totally enjoyable.
There isn’t too much to do in the town itself. It's worth calling a taxi and traveling around a bit... but if you just want to relax, it’s perfect for that.
This is a great hotel but very Spanish orientated in my opinion.
We are finding getting any assistance difficult because of the language barrier probably, though im not 100% sure.
The pool rules are very strict and the pool attendant very abrupt.
We have 1 year old who has a dingy which we bought in the hotel shop.
Apparently we can't use it in the pool even though the baby is obviously being supervised and has a life jacket on.
We are a party of 4 adults a 4 year old and baby.
Hooefully this review will help others when making there choice of hotels
