We stayed at Is Serenas Badesi for one night as a couple during a business trip, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The resort is beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed in a charming village-style layout. The facilities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the large main pool, which never felt overcrowded and provided a very relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We also loved the complimentary drink stations located throughout the resort, which were incredibly convenient, especially during the warm Sardinian days. The walk down to the beach was lovely, and we appreciated the variety of dining options available, including the beachfront restaurant, the traditional Sardinian restaurant, and the main buffet restaurant. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. One of the things we loved most about the all-inclusive package was the flexibility to dine at any of the restaurants. Every meal was delicious, with high-quality ingredients and plenty of choice. A special mention must go to the staff for their outstanding attention to food allergies. I have severe food allergies, and eating out is often a source of stress for me. At Is Serenas, the team took my allergies extremely seriously, providing clear information and ensuring there was no risk of cross-contamination. This level of care and professionalism made me feel completely at ease and allowed me to fully enjoy my dining experience. Although our stay was short, it exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Is Serenas Badesi to anyone looking for a beautiful resort, excellent food, and exceptional customer care.

We will not be returning to this hotel or any Bluserena hotel. Definitely won’t recommend to anyone. Would give it zero stars if I could We arrived at 9 am starving and was told that food is not included until dinner. No snacks, nothing available. There was breakfast being served but was told we cannot eat breakfast even though breakfast was being served until 10 am. Very limited food by pool. Seafood sitting out in the hot sun. For the price charged this is unacceptable. Any other all inclusive resort we have been to in Sardegna or other European all inclusive resorts have allowed us to eat immediately and use all facilities without additional charges. Internet did not work and also did not get cellular connection. Everyday staff said maintenance is working on it. Read past reviews and others complained about this too Staff are not knowledgeable or helpful. Was told they would text us when our room is ready. Sat for awhile and decided to get up and ask and was told yes it’s been reqdy for awhile, no notification and they see we are waiting for the room in the lobby. Took several trips to the reception to finish the check in bc we could not get pool towels bc the staff did not know what they were doing. Hotel room did not have any body wash, shampoo or amenities when first arrived. Had to call and ask for it and they said yes we have it. Entire family got sick from something we ate. There was a line in front of the medical office and someone said it was from water contamination. All fountains were shut down and the brought packaged water. No notification to anyone about this. Food is just ok. Bland, no flavor. Nothing special. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else!!

Ok - I want to preface this with saying that this is our families first-ever all-inclusive experience. What initially sold us was how they catered to kids (we have 2) and the last beach vacation we took (Hawaii) cost us $700/ 6hours of “kids club” and we just wanted to have a few days where our kids could be entertained and we could have the opportunity for solo/ parents time. Without a doubt, the kids club is excellent and I will sing the praises of all the staff there as they went above and beyond to make our kids happy and comfortable (we are ex-pat Americans, who are living in Italy for

I am ranking this holiday as 3 stars as I cannot give 3.5 stars. It is good resort and it ticked a lot of the boxes for a family with young kids, however I would say there are a some things that could be done to improve the experience. To arrive it takes 1.5 hours by car and the resort is fairly secluded. We hired a car which i recommend as it gives you the opportunity to visit the island. There is a car park on site so parking is not an issue. The location of the hotel is good for access to both sides of the island in just over an hour. For example we travelled to alghero to visit the old town and to palau for a boat trip. There is also castelsardo nearby which is beautiful. The hotel location makes the beach experience better and there are a set of sun beds that are included in the stay (not the front row unless you're prestige). The beach is accessible along a boardwalk which leads out of the back of the resort. It is West facing so you get the sunset every night. On calm days the waters are blue and good for snorkeling but if it's windy it can be more rough. The hotel provides water equipment for you to use free of charge. This included water bikes, paddle boards, kayaks etc. The pool is a good size and not too busy for the time of year (late July). The slide is good and there is a small splash park. They did aquaaerobic classes and there is another pool for swimming lengths which was not busy. On arrival we were greeted with helpful reception staff and there was water / croissants available. Unfortunately there was not gluten free food available and lunch had finished so my wife had to wait until dinner for the next meal which was not ideal. Generally the food was pretty average, I was expecting more variety and different themes, which there wasnt. There were gluten free options for food but it was the same 'pasta with sauce' options every night which is not sustainable for a week. The other food options were sometimes gluten free, however some dishes had signs stating it contained gluten but when you asked the staff, they said it was gluten free. Some food did not have gluten signs and had bread in them so I feel like dinner was a lot more effort than it needed to be. There was a gluten free dessert available every day and generally the desserts were quite tasty. There are two other restaurants outside of the main restaurant. One is on the beach and another next to the main restaurant. These have nice dishes, which were made to order. You can only eat a total of 2 times at these restaurants due to the limited numbers. We invested some money in a few meals when we were travelling around - which we felt was necessary. For all inclusive the drinks menu included, peroni on tap, wines and cocktails. It would have been nice to have some fresh juices available for breakfast but these were from a machine, from concentrate. Unfortunately the coffee was not brilliant. You could get a good espresso but otherwise the machines used dry/machine milk which does not make a good drink. The room was fairly basic - big enough for 4 in a family room - however there was one double and two single beds, with one of the single beds in a connected room. We felt it would have been better to have the single beds in the same room - especially for kids. My 7 year old did not want to sleep on her own in a separate room. The hotel has invested in it's entertainment staff and has a very broad range. From kids disco starting at 9.15pm and main show at 10pm. We adjusted our routine so our kids could stay up for the main show as we found they enjoyed this more. We found this to be fairly suitable for our young kids however it was mostly in Italian so it was quite challenging to follow. There were qr codes you could scan for English but this is not helpful for kids. There are other assets to this hotel which we did not use. Kids club and tennis/padel/volley courts/gym. I'd say this hotel is well suited for people with young families but if you are looking for more than 3.5 stars then you probably aren't going to find it here.

We booked our holiday through Jet2holidays and overall had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms were good, clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. The food was one of the highlights, with a great variety of dishes available every day. The fish dishes were particularly good, and the desserts were excellent with plenty of choice. One thing to note is that there were no excursions available through Jet2holidays during our stay. However, some excursions could be booked directly through the hotel. Renting a car is also a good option if you want to explore the area independently. The only downside was that for 6 out of the 7 nights we stayed, there was a very large group of teenagers from an Italian college staying at the hotel. While they were generally fine during the day, they could be quite noisy in the evenings, especially after 11 pm when the hotel entertainment had finished and they returned to their rooms. There was often music playing which was sometimes disturbing. Overall, despite the noise issue, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the clean rooms, excellent food, and friendly atmosphere.
