My stay at Kaila Beach Hotel was unfortunately very disappointing and did not meet the expectations of a 5-star resort.
Upon arrival around 1:30–2:00 am, the standard room we had booked was unavailable, so we were temporarily placed in a deluxe room. Initially, this seemed like a nice gesture; however, the next morning after breakfast, we were told we had to move to our original standard room unless we paid an additional €190 to stay in the deluxe one — which was an unreasonable price for an upgrade.
Once we were moved to the standard room, we were surprised by how much lower the quality was compared to the deluxe room. The downgrade in comfort and overall condition was very noticeable.
What made the experience even worse was the attitude of some of the staff. One staff member made an inappropriate comment, saying my boyfriend looked like a “gangster” simply because of how he was dressed — even though he was dressed similarly to many other male guests. Additionally, one of the housekeeping staff was extremely rude and even shouted at us in Turkish for no apparent reason. This felt very personal and made us uncomfortable, especially considering the amount of money we paid for this trip.
I complained several times to both reception and customer relations. Although I was told that the housekeeper would be assigned to a different section, she was still working in our area the next day, which was very disappointing and made us feel that our concerns were not taken seriously.
The food was also underwhelming and definitely not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel — both in terms of quality and variety.
On a more positive note, the sauna and steam room facilities were very nice and relaxing, which was one of the few highlights of our stay.
Overall, this hotel fell far short of expectations. The poor service, rude behavior from some staff, and lack of accountability made this an unpleasant experience. I would not recommend Kaila Beach Hotel and would not stay here again.
It is not definitely 5* of the European standard :) if i need to make a comparison it would be max 3,5*. Lobby pretty, beer was good. Food tasty for the first 4 days, later it is not tasty anymore. Breakfast was the worse by far. I was eating the round rolls with sesame and artificial ham made of processed meat as this was only thing not giving me a stomach ache. Good BBQ dishes in the dinner. Good deserts! Overall for the price vs quality ration is OK. Beach has fine sand when around beaches are rocky. On mondays and thursdays there is marketplace on the street next to the hotel however the quality of the marketplace is not the best :)
So we booked this hotel very last minute and didn’t realise it was a 2 hour drive from Antalya! However, we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the deluxe room was, the view was gorgeous. We were taken to our room by Alejandro who was really lovely. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and dinner - our plates were full! The cocktails were a bit mid though, very sweet and sickening after a couple. overall we really enjoyed our time here as a family and would highly recommend Kaila Beach Hotel
What can we say about this holiday? By far the BEST hotel we have stayed at in Turkey, we are always skeptical about our hotels until we arrive there and this one certainly delivered!
Arriving was easy, especially considering we got there at around 5am, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and swiftly escorted to our room, which was a lovely room!
The food was lovely with the addition of a free trip to the a la carte restaurant during our stay (this was like a high end 5-course dining experience), there is so much to do in and around the hotel with 3 pools, shops and plenty of bars dotted around the hotel. The snack bars were great and all freshly cooked to order, the beach was lovely with a bar and snacks too. Staff are very friendly, especially Bilal, Omar and Alihan who are all very accommodating and are very positive and happy all the time!
Great holiday and we will be regular visitors in the coming years! Thanks to everyone at Kaila Beach Hotel.
We arrived after 24h traveling. In check in desk the lady was very rude and didnt speak english very good.I paid for delux room. Instead the lady tried to sell me this room for extra charge. I didn’t want to and she gave me regular room. I went back to desk and show her pics of room i want, she said thats not the delux room and to get touch with my travel agent. Then other employee saw that i was getting angry and offered to help. Showed him a picture and he told that yes, this is a delux room and he was giving me that, but room wasn’t cleaned. So we needed to wait another 20min there.
Employees at the bar ignored me multiple times, they are there like on gun point, no smiles, no happy convos nothing.
There is more people than sunbeds in pool and beach area.
Second floor ac unit was leaking from the sealing where you wait for elevator. Also very bad mould was on this area.
Rooms service didn’t change our bedsheets when they were dirty, just made the bed and took out trash.
Balcony door didn’t lock.
Only positive thing was food and that rooms were pretty.
