Wonderful holiday! We had an amazing 1 week stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff go above and beyond and are so very friendly (special thanks to Virginia and Joana on reception). We were there to celebrate upcoming birthdays and the hotel had left us a bottle of wine in the room when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. We found the hotel to be so well looked after, clean, and everything you could need. The food was great in all the restaurants and snack bar area. We also ate at both of the a la carte restaurants, which were lovely. Spoilt for choice of pools and never struggled for sunbeds. All in all a wonderful week at Venezia and would definately recommend.
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our holiday. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the food was great – everyone can find something they like, with plenty of variety to choose from. The bartenders and the animation team were amazing, always friendly, cheerful, and creating a great atmosphere.
A special thank you to the receptionist, Virginia, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. She was always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed, making us feel truly welcome.
We had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We would be happy to come back again 😁
We visited the Venezia Resort in June and had a good stay. It was our first time in an all-inclusive resort, so not sure what to expect, but wanted to share our experience.
We had originally booked a Superior Room with Rooftop Jacuzzi. On arrival we had been upgraded to one of the “Venezia Luxury Living” villa’s, which was a great surprise! The room itself and the rooftop were great, however we did come across some issues (dirty jacuzzi, damage to the room). These were dealt with very quickly once we reported them. The resort does however feel poorly maintained if you look at the details: doors that do not close/lock, broken shutters, small things like that do put a damper on the experience.
The resort itself is beautiful and in an okay location. We had a rental car, which is something we would definitely recommend, as it is slightly out of the city (20 min walk or so). The resort feels slightly out of place/in the middle of nowhere. Having a car makes it much easier to move around. The pools do close relatively (18:00) early but that seems to be common? Sunbeds were usually available but we sometimes struggled to find a spot during peak hours.
The food in the resort was very bad unfortunately. Breakfast was OK, but the available bread was usually very stale and options were limited. Lunch and dinner were a disappointment. The food was lukewarm at most, food didn’t fit the theme and we ended up eating out a lot of the days. The “romantic night” was just the leftovers from the previous week.
You do get one free meal in the table service restaurant, we visited Marrakech. Contrary to the buffet this was amazing: great food and service and something we would definitely recommend.
The staff were lovely: drinks were great, always happy to help, but the food just wasn’t that great. We also didn’t like how some bars were included during certain times but would be come payable in the evenings.
Seeing as it is a cheaper resort, some of these things could be expected, but the buffet and food options were a big disappointment.
We had a wonderful time at Venezia resort! Highly recommend! The staf is very friendly and everything was very clean. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel.
If we can give you some feedback it would be about the beds. They often spilt apart because the wheels under the bed kept rolling around. Except that we don’t have any complaints.
The pool and the air hockey were our favourite activity’s. We had lots of fun. It was a place for young and old. Although we didn’t attend the activity’s provided by the animation staf, we loved seeing everyone joining and having fun!
If you get the chance to dine at one of the other restaurants of the hotel we would highly recommend you to pick the Marrakesh oasis of pleasure! The food was extraordinary and very delicious. It’s an experience you won’t forget!
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to everyone!
Ps. There’s a lot to see in Rhodes, don’t miss out on the wonderful adventures outside the hotel
We had the most wonderful stay at Venezia Resort Rhodes and would highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help especially George, the restaurant manager, Joana and Olga at reception, and the concierge Ewvin, who all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
We experienced an issue with the water flow in our room, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. They kindly offered to move us to another room and even gifted us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience, which was a lovely touch.
The resort is tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also within walking distance of Faliraki, where there are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants to explore.
The food was a little hit and miss for me personally, especially breakfast, although my husband enjoyed it. An omelette station with freshly made eggs would have been a great addition instead of the pre-made options available.
The entertainment team were exceptional, especially the lovely Rio and Nino, who kept everyone entertained throughout the day with fun activities and energy. We also really enjoyed the evening shows.
The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and much larger than we expected. Overall, it was fantastic value for money, and we truly hope to return again in the future.
