Very disappointing – not worth the price
Considering that we paid over €600 for just a two-night stay, we expected a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, service and overall experience.
The room was not properly clean and there were ants everywhere.
The biggest disappointment was the “relaxing massage.” We paid around €100 for two massages, but they took place in the fitness area, surrounded by other guests and screaming children. There was no privacy and absolutely no relaxing atmosphere. The massages also lasted significantly less than the advertised 55 minutes. When we complained, unfortunately nobody reacted or offered a solution.
For my friend’s birthday, a cake was left in the room, which was a nice gesture, but it was uncovered and there were no plates, cutlery or even a lighter for the candles.
Drinks were served in plastic cups, which we found inappropriate for a hotel in this price category. If you wanted a proper glass, you had to pay extra. The quality of the drinks was also disappointing, particularly the white wine.
The positive part was the food – there was a good and wide selection, and we enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, good food was not enough to compensate for the lack of cleanliness, disappointing service and poor overall experience. For more than €600 for two nights, we expected much more. We would not stay here again.
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing.
During our stay, there was a wedding taking place outside, with extremely loud music continuing until around 1:30 AM. It was almost impossible to sleep, which is completely unacceptable when you are paying for a relaxing hotel stay.
We stayed for five nights, and not once were our bed sheets changed. On top of that, the phone in our room did not work, so there was no way to contact reception directly whenever we needed assistance.
The beach situation was also very disappointing. Unless you pay an additional €30 for the VIP area, the free section is extremely overcrowded. The sunbeds are placed so close together that you have absolutely no personal space or privacy, making it very difficult to relax and enjoy the beach.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price. A hotel stay should feel relaxing and comfortable, not noisy, overcrowded, and inconvenient. The food is the best thing about this hotel.
We stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience, though we feel that the price-to-quality ratio is best justified if you visit during the off-season.
What we loved most:
The Staff: Wonderful, polite, and incredibly professional. They truly make you feel welcome.
The Food: Great selection of dishes, everything was delicious and varied.
The Location: Excellent and very convenient.
Areas for improvement :
The Courtyard/Garden: The outdoor area needs a bit more maintenance. Regular grass mowing and general landscaping would make the ambiance much nicer.
The Beach: It would be great to install wooden walkways for easier access and to add more beach showers.
Pest Control: It wouldn't hurt to do a proper disinfection/spraying for insects, especially during periods when they are more active.
Excellent hotel, in a great location with a beautiful beach. The food was also excellent, with a different selection every day. Our only complaint was that we were traveling with a baby in a stroller, so we had to use the car to get down because walking up the steep hills with the stroller was quite difficult. It would be great if they could solve this somehow, for example by installing an elevator. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel.
We had an amazing stay at Tosca Beach Hotel and highly recommend it!
Everything was excellent: the rooms, the beach, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and the kindness of the entire staff. We would especially like to thank the chef, who truly impressed us. We were traveling with our 10-month-old baby, and every single day he prepared fresh meals exactly as we requested. He always asked us what we wanted and made everything with great care and attention.
This thoughtful gesture meant so much to our family and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The care, professionalism, and hospitality of the entire team made our vacation truly unforgettable.
We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything! ❤️
