The staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming, which was definitely one of the positive aspects of our stay.
However, overall, we had the feeling that we were staying in a three-star hotel rather than a four-star hotel. The room was disappointing, with dirty carpets and old, dated furniture. In the bathroom, there were areas where mould was visible, and the hotel’s interior in general looked very outdated and in need of renovation.
The restaurant was another major disappointment. Breakfast was almost exactly the same every day, with a rather limited selection. The scrambled eggs did not taste fresh and seemed to be made from powdered egg, vegetables and fruit were not always fresh. What surprised us most was the system for lunch and dinner: every morning, a waiter asked us to choose our meals for that day. Unfortunately, the selection was very limited and low quality. It felt as if the kitchen, and especially the chef, had not kept up with modern hotel standards. The food was bland and ordinary. The pasta/sauce did not seem freshly prepared, the sauces were uninspiring, and the salad buffet was essentially the only real buffet available. Even dessert had to be chosen as one specific option. Restaurant was really bad. Once you had the opportunity to visit different hotels in the same price and star ranges, you can clearly see the massive difference.
The outdoor areas were also rather disappointing. The swimming pool itself was nothing special, and the area around it was quite small and limited. It simply did not make us want to spend much time there.
The reception area gave us the impression of a mountain hotel from the 1980s rather than a modern four-star property.
Overall, the service and facilities were far below what we expected from a four-star hotel. Despite the very friendly and helpful staff, our stay at Hotel Meridianus was ultimately a disappointment, and we would not choose this hotel again.
Great location, beach is in short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet street surrounded with beautiful trees which makes it really charming and offers good relax for guests.
Meals are excellent, varied and waiters super friendly. Pool and bikes were also very useful for us with a young child.
We enjoyed our stay very much, made remarkable memories and are eager tor return sometime.

The hotel is located close to beach and restaurants.
Breakfast was great.
The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the staff in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful.

Broken and dirty refrigerator in the room.
You have to pay around €29 for the sun chair and umbrella at the beach, otherwise you're not allowed to enter the beach.
Needed a place to stay for one night and it did fine. We haven't tried the pool but it looks nice and big. Breakfast was ok. Bedroom and bathroom were a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Good location, great for the beach, 15 mins walk from Serpentone (Pineta). Umbrella rental isn't free if you stay less than 3 nights, but it's discounted to 15€ rather than the normal 25€. Bike rental free for 2 hours, then €1. Reception staff very friendly.
Very old hotel, needs renovation in all areas- room with damaged floor, dammaged furniture, the carpets in commun premises are dirty, small elevators therefore problem to get in with a stroller. The staff is very friendly and room kept clean, but strange acid smell of bed sheets and in bathroom.
