Outstanding venue for corporate offsites and international team events. We spent three days at Hotel Eder for an offsite with our 34‑member international team from the automotive industry, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The entire organization was handled flawlessly. Special thanks go to Sabine Hofmann, who managed everything with great professionalism, attention to detail, and remarkable flexibility. Even last‑minute requests and individual wishes were always accommodated smoothly and with a positive attitude. The team dinners were a true highlight of our stay. The Spring & Austria themed evenings took place in a beautiful setting and featured an excellent four‑course menu. Regional cuisine, fresh herbs from the area, creative compositions, and a very thoughtful menu selection made the food exceptional and truly memorable. A special thank you to Melanie, who made us feel truly well taken care of throughout the evenings with her warm, attentive, and highly professional service. The meeting catering was equally impressive. Desserts and snacks were far from standard – creative, surprising, fresh, and of excellent quality. Lunches were perfectly balanced and ideal for long and intensive workshop days, leaving the team energized and focused. Throughout our stay, we consistently felt very well taken care of. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always available to support us with any request. The meeting room itself deserves special mention. It offers an excellent technical setup, great sound quality, and a very well‑thought‑out layout. It is a perfect place for business meetings – professional and inspiring at the same time, and refreshingly far from a conventional meeting room atmosphere. Another highlight was our team connect evening at Hotel Sepp. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location is exceptional for team events. The open‑space loft area is ideal for creative exchange and collaboration. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with great service, warm hospitality, and an inspiring environment. Overall, a clear recommendation for corporate offsites, workshops, and team events. Next time, for sure, with a big plan for the TOM Almhütte.
We stayed at Hotel Eder and I can say with certainty that we had an amazing time. It’s the perfect place to spend your holidays in a spotless hotel with very helpful staff! Every corner you move to makes you feel like you’re somewhere completely different. Incredible design, very delicious food, and you can enjoy a sauna, hammam, pool, gym, massages, and so much more… I highly recommend it!🙏🏼
We were a bit underwhelmed when we got there, the hotel is quite dimly lit and it can start to feel quite irritating after a while. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms so it can get quickly stuffy if you keep doors and windows shut. If you end up with a smoking neighbour, like we did, your room is going suck up all the smoke which will go nowhere. That said, the service was great. There’s enough and more for the kids to do. We stayed out of our room most days.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eder and in Maria Alm, largely thanks to the WONDERFUL Nicole at reception. Her care and attention to detail from the first moment during our booking call through to saying goodbye really made the difference. It was also her colleagues, we had great service from the spa (massages- wonderful), to the bar, to dinner & breakfast. If you are looking for a place to explore/hike/relax/enjoy a spa and some pampering- I definitely recommend! And when you need help navigating the surrounding area or creating your custom hotel/spa package, the cheerful service team is there to support! Note I saw some other poor reviews regarding the rooms/annex building/noise/spa/service- I think these are dramatic and at least one is fully misleading: we stayed in the “annex”- it is a less than 5 second walk between buildings (look up and see beautiful scenery! No problem here). As for noise/spa, I think you’ll find that while you are indeed at the heart of this lively little village you also have full opportunity to relax and restore (and enjoy some church bells from the neighbor too). Lastly, the comments on service couldn’t be farther away, the people here will make you feel included and welcomed before you even arrive. Enjoy!
