This was our first time at Hotel Sewell and definitely the last. The rooms are extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and not clean at all. Everything felt worn out and neglected. The man at reception was shockingly unprofessional and downright unfriendly. Instead of making us feel welcome, he seemed annoyed by our presence. As for the food, terrible doesn’t even begin to describe it. The breakfast was easily the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. The “juice” served looked like some dark, unidentifiable substance. I didn’t even dare to taste it. There is absolutely no reason to return and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere. Anywhere else will be better than this.
Nothing fancy pancy but a good place to start exploring the region. The site can use some refurbishing outdoors, inside the family residences are pretty OK. The fish and cheese in the buffet are very nice and fresh, some very good salads too. Could be a greater variety of food but maybe it was due to early season and not so much visitors. And maybe add some music or animation in the evening around the bar/pool. Overall I feel like they are (re)building something with lots of passion and good will. We would consider coming back
Stayed for 4 nights with my teenage daughter and we loved it. Great pool. Lovely staff. Clean air conditioned room. 10 mins from the beach. Would definitely visit again
Here for the Ceroc Spring Break weekender. What a well-run, well-equipped holiday village. Our bungalow is spacious and has all we need, and it was really peaceful last night. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the foid is excellent! Plenty of sports facilities and a good-sized pool, and only a 15 minute walk to the beach 👌
I thought I was booking a hotel but these are apartments. Find is that's what you're looking for. One thing to note is that the check in time is 5PM so you can loose a whole day as I did. The rooms are pretty clean and somewhat updated but needed paint. It's far to walk to anywhere so be aware it's not very convenient to get to restaurants or bars or anything.
