My personal review of Blue Wave suite Hotel
The hotel’s location is excellent. It is very close to the beach and in a convenient area, which was definitely the best part of our stay.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was disappointing. There was not much variety in the food, and the menu felt repetitive after a couple of days. I was also surprised that there was no proper fruit bar. Türkiye is famous for its delicious fresh fruits, but we had to go outside the hotel to buy them ourselves. I also couldn’t find a fresh salad bar with a good selection.
The biggest disappointment was the service. Some staff members rarely smiled, and a few were not very friendly. When you’re on vacation, you want to feel welcome and relaxed. Instead, at times it felt as if we were asking for a favor rather than being valued guests.
In my opinion, every guest deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and a smile. Friendly service can make a huge difference in the overall holiday experience.
This is my personal opinion based on my experience. I hope the hotel improves its food variety and customer service in the future.
Went here with my family. The hotel is safe and in great condition. You have to make sure you are cautious around the pool. Its water and tile. You will slip or fall if you or your kids don't pay attention. The food is amazing and the drinks are always ready and free.
We stayed at this hotel for a month. We had it all: friendliness of the staff, nice room, plenty of activities, great shows, variety of food, food poisoning… overall hotel is a great deal but the cleanliness standards are super low here so don’t imagine staying healthy and strong if you have kids. Our kids got stomach bug several times during our stay vomiting right in the restaurant zone. We saw the other kids vomiting there too… guess what? They simply dust the tables from food crumbs without using disinfectants. So bugs just live here. We applied our common sense and started to wash hands more vigorously, avoid putting even our utensils on the table.
We recently stayed at this hotel for 10 days and overall had a very good experience.
The biggest positive point was definitely the cleanliness. The hotel was spotless at all times, and our room was cleaned every single day, which we really appreciated.
The hotel had just reopened after renovations, and while the common areas look fresh and modern, it feels like some parts of the rooms — especially the bathrooms — were not fully renovated yet. Our sink was broken during our entire stay and unfortunately it was never fixed. This was disappointing and is definitely something that needs attention. The room itself was fine, but not particularly impressive or “wow.”
That said, the service was excellent. The staff were always attentive and quick to help with anything we needed. Sometimes they were even a little too quick to clear the table before we had fully finished eating! During dinner they always offered drinks and made sure guests were comfortable.
The food was absolutely spectacular. There was great variety every day, so it never felt repetitive, and everything was delicious. The dessert table deserves a special mention — amazing selection and every dessert we tried was excellent.
The pool area was also great, especially for families. The children’s pool was fantastic, with lots of fun water slides that kids absolutely loved. My only confusion was that it closed from 12 pm to 2 pm, which felt a bit inconvenient. The water was also quite cold during our stay, although I imagine this won’t be much of an issue once the temperatures get higher. The adult pool was beautiful, very modern, and had a really nice atmosphere.
The staff were especially wonderful with children. They treated the kids with so much kindness and patience, which made our family feel very welcome.
A special mention goes to Ozgur at the bar. He was incredibly friendly, respectful, and professional. His English is pretty good, and he gave us great local tips and recommendations.
The kids club was fantastic. Every day there were activities, and my 5-year-old daughter loved spending her afternoons painting and dancing with Noah. The mini disco at night was also a big hit with the children. The only small downside was that it started a bit too late for younger kids — I think an earlier time would be much better. After the mini disco, the evening shows were incredible and very entertaining.
Overall, despite a few unfinished renovation details and the bathroom maintenance issue, we had a lovely stay. The cleanliness, amazing food, excellent pools, excellent entertainment, and especially the kindness of the staff made this a memorable family holiday. With a few improvements, this hotel could be truly outstanding.
The hotel has no star, it is misinformation in booking and google maps. The hotel is very busy with renovation while ignoring their guests completely. The rooms are very dirty and full of dusts.
The food is almost nothing though it is all-inclusive hotel. Our vacation is completely messed up and our kids are very unhappy. Glad that we stay only 4 nights and the rest was at great 5 star hotel. I recommend to avoid this place.
