We weren't sure if we were in Greece or France.
I think the hotel caters primarily to French customers. It may be a hotel dedicated to France. I wish we had known that before buying. This information isn't available on any website. The entertainment, food, and culture are all French. The hotel animators organize entertainment only for children traveling with Club Marmara. Our daughter asked an animator for the snacks he was serving. He said that the snacks were only for the children there. All the children at the table were, of course, French. We were shocked. There is officially discrimination. Also, we thought we would experience Greek culture and cuisine, but the food has nothing to do with Greece. The only good thing about the hotel is the sea. The food is bad and the cleaning is subpar. If you want to feel like you're in France instead of Greece, come! Otherwise, never!
Our stay was an absolute dream from the very first moment. The hotel's location is simply ideal – quiet, yet close to everything you need. The charming town of Ierapetra is easily and conveniently accessible by bus.
What impressed us most, however, was the atmosphere: The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always there for us with a genuine smile. You could feel that true hospitality is practiced here.
The sea? Incredible! So clean, so clear – we could see right to the bottom. It felt like a private stretch of coastline in the Caribbean.
A particular highlight was the entertainment: Although in French, it was so lovingly and humorously presented that we – as German guests – immediately felt included and welcome. The shows were charming, lively, and ensured a good mood every evening.
We couldn't have wished for anything better. This hotel is a gem that we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to spend an unforgettable vacation!
It was wonderful, the service was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, simply beautiful.
Super hotel, bardzo miła obsługa, wszystko dobrze zorganizowane ,jedzenie bardzo dobre
