This was our second time coming to this hotel as we came in october 2023 and we have just got back from staying a week, this hotel is AMAZING, our room was perfect with a stunning sea view (royal elite room). The food.. don’t even get me started i was NEVER left hungry many options for many different types of eaters. The Royal Elite food was absolutely delicious and so was the italian and other food hall. Entertainment was so good, I was on the dance floor every night dancing to all the songs the singers were singing!!!! My favourite night was white night on a sunday, feels like a night out. I want to say big thank you to all of the staff because they are fabulous at their job especially Cristian!! Cristian you are such a friendly person and so nice to talk to when me and my family were talking to you we felt like we was talking to a friend, not a worker.🥰🥰 In the pool their was many things to do!! Aqua Gym, Inflatables, Mini Olympics ect. The sports bar had the football on every night for all the dads who want to watch😂😂This hotel is just a fabulous hotel overall!! I WILL be asking to come back next summer🤍🤍
Just back from an amazing holiday. This hotel is more like a 5 star than 4 star.
The rooms, Balcony and views were amazing.
The food was such an array of choice and service brilliant. The food was so tasty and sooooo much on offer.
The entertainment was fantastic. Si gers and Musicians and fabulous atmosphere.
There is such a loveky feeling to this hotel. It is so relaxed and happy and instantly makes you feel chilled and happy.
The location is fab.
The staff are so brilliant. Especially the reception staff.
They have an excellent spa and treatments. and also crazy golf.
This is a gem of a hotel.
Don't miss it.
We stayed in the Villas and they are honestly amazing, best stay ever! Unfortunately, the staff in the hotel itself are very rude, my nan asked for a plain omelette quite a few times as she cannot eat cheese, and the sour faced woman making the omelettes kept kicking off with her about how she’s not making omelettes without cheese. Another member of staff in the restaurant, shouted in our faces as our table wasn’t cleaned off so we asked if it could be and he screamed in our faces and said “ok give me a minute” and walked off scoffing and sighing, other than that they all just look very miserable, but villas amazing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at this hotel last week and, putting the serious concerns aside, the hotel itself is lovely. The rooms were great, the food was excellent and overall there is a lot to like about the resort.
Unfortunately, our experience was seriously affected by concerns about two members of the animation team.
One member is a blonde man, around 30, with his hair pushed back and tattoos. During our stay, I witnessed behaviour towards young female guests that I found extremely inappropriate and concerning.
The second is another blonde member of the animation team with curly hair who frequently wears aviator sunglasses. I witnessed him grabbing a female cleaner in the dinner hall. She appeared visibly distressed by what happened, and from her appearance I would estimate that she was very young, possibly around 16.
I sincerely hope hotel management will investigate these incidents properly and take the appropriate action to ensure that both guests and staff feel safe and respected.
As a parent, this is particularly concerning to me. My daughter is of a similar age to some of the young girls staying at the hotel, and I would not feel comfortable bringing her back while these concerns remain.
It is genuinely disappointing, because the hotel itself has so many positives. The food, rooms and facilities were all very good, but unfortunately the behaviour I witnessed has completely changed my view of the hotel.
For that reason, we will not be returning.
Had a great stay at Sandos Papagayo Hotel. Very quiet location. The staff were lovely and the hotel itself was very clean. The food choice and quality was excellent. I had a lovely seaview it was nice to leave the door open and hear the waves at night.
