We are currently staying at this hotel. It is an old hotel with old and outdated facilities yet the room is big enough; I also like that for a city hotel , it offers a pool and sea access. The negative sides are that the service or the personnel are not much helpful, it is standard and kind of bare minimum. Although I like the room and its size and the view, there are a few things that are not good especially some blue light coming straight into my son’s eyes at night, the red light from the tv etc. It can also get loud by some other guests at night. even when you close the shower door, there is a bit of water leaking which gets the bathroom wet. The most shocking thing for me is that they do not offer a step or a toilet seat for the little ones. When I asked it, I was told noone has so far asked anything like that and I am quite surprised. These things in my opinion are basic. The cleanliness in the common areas such pool is not the best, nobody seemed to have cleaned the cocktail that spilled on the floor from the day before. It is full of bird poop etc. The pool side chairs were already taken by guests before anyone was there, it becomes impossible to find one at certain peak hours. However overall if you have low expectation, it is a price performance hotel, especially if you want to stay in the city center yet have access to a pool and the sea for swimming. I would consider staying for a few days.
Stayed at Ramada plaza by Wyndham in Antalya for the second time. Chose this hotel because of the experience we had in 2024. Last time we booked a family room with sea view but unfortunately it was a lot more expensive this time so we booked 2 double rooms. When we arrived our rooms weren’t what we expected had a problem with air con and an unpleasant smell. We had to sleep with balcony door open because of smell and we couldn’t sleep as we were on ground level and felt quite vulnerable as it was me and my daughter. In the morning we went to front desk and told them someone was then sent to sort the air con and sort the smell. But unfortunately it didn’t help so we went back to front desk and spoke to Miraj he was very understanding we asked if we could up grade if we paid some money. He checked his computer and said he noticed we had two family members in the next room( my other two daughters) so he said he could up grade us to a family room with sea view. So we asked how much and he said he would do it for free. Absolutely amazing the room was on 12th floor was immaculately clean had two large balconies with beautiful views and this is why we would definitely use this hotel again. Thankyou so so much to Miraj you made our holiday something we will never forget and hopefully will be returning soon.
The breakfast was good, and the room was clean and comfortable However, most of the staff were not very friendly or welcoming. The only exception was **Fatma from housekeeping**, who always welcomed us with a warm smile and was very kind One of the staff members who helped us with our luggage asked for a tip. We didn’t have any cash available, but he insisted that we should go exchange money and come back just so he could receive a tip. This made us feel very uncomfortable. . Overall, a good hotel, but the staff’s hospitality could be improve
When we arrived, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Although our room was generally acceptable, it did not meet the standard we expected from a five-star hotel. There were several permanent stains on the bathroom floor, which was disappointing.
One evening we went to the bar to order drinks. We asked for Piña Coladas, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
We noticed that the female member of staff serving at the bar was friendly and cheerful when speaking to other guests, who were white. However, when she saw our group, her attitude noticeably changed.
We clearly explained that we wanted Piña Coladas. Instead, the staff member gave us a drink made in a pint glass containing water, a small amount of Malibu, and milk.
When we explained again what we had ordered, she simply walked away. At the same time, other members of staff were staring at us, which made us feel very uncomfortable and humiliated.
Unfortunately, I was very upset at the time and did not get the name of the staff member.
We then went to Customer Service to report what had happened and explain how we felt we had been treated. The Customer Service representative contacted the bar manager, who was unavailable at the time.
She then went to the bar and spoke to the same staff member, who eventually prepared our Piña Coladas correctly and served them in proper cocktail glasses and apologised.
We appreciated the apology but genuinely felt that we were treated differently because we are Black, the difference between the way she treated us and other guests was very noticeable. The experience left all of us feeling humiliated, unwelcome, and discriminated against.
We paid for all-inclusive holiday at a five-star hotel and expected to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism throughout our stay, regardless of our race or skin colour.

The location is nice: close to the Old Town, with lovely walking areas by the sea nearby. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant is comfortable, with beautiful views that make the morning coffee taste even better.
The gym and spa area were also great, spacious, well equipped and a real highlight of the stay.
However, I cannot quite agree with the five-star rating. We were initially allocated the wrong room, cleaning was a little inconsistent, and one day one of the pillowcases mysteriously disappeared, perhaps it had gone on holiday too. On another day, one of the lifts was out of service, creating a very long queue of guests waiting patiently for vertical transport.
To be fair, the reception team resolved all the issues, and they were helpful throughout. Still, the overall impression was that the hotel has many strong points, but also a few rough edges that stop it from feeling truly five-star.
