We stayed at the hotel as a group consisting of my girlfriend, her parents, her cousin and myself. We were generously given a room upgrade, and my girlfriend and I were able to enjoy a beautiful suite with a sea view.
Overall, the rooms were clean, inviting and well maintained during our stay. However, it became apparent throughout the week that some renovation work is needed. Several showers on our floor were not properly sealed, resulting in water running into the corridors. The initial cleaning before our arrival also seemed to be lacking: during our final “did I forget anything?” check before leaving, we found Cheerios and other food underneath the sofa. Overall, the rooms and facilities are perfectly functional, but in our opinion they do not meet the standard we would expect from a 4-star, let alone a 5-star hotel.
The most disappointing part of our stay was the dinner experience. Our group, as well as two other groups from Switzerland, had half-board arrangements. This seemed to create a considerable organisational challenge for the hotel, which unfortunately had a noticeable impact on our experience. The various speciality restaurants were often unreliable in terms of opening times and complicated to book. As a result, we ended up eating exclusively at Mosaic. The food there was genuinely very good.
Unfortunately, despite the excellent food, dinner itself became an uncomfortable experience for us. We were repeatedly corrected by the manager during our meals and felt that we were under constant supervision. We were sometimes only allowed to enter the dining room accompanied by staff, and every visit seemed to involve a great deal of attention and fuss. We never really understood what we were doing wrong or what we could have done differently to improve the situation. This is unfortunately one of the things we remember most clearly from our stay and is the main reason why I would not choose to return to the hotel.
Overall: We had a good holiday and were able to enjoy many aspects of our stay. The beautiful setting, our room and especially the quality of the food all contributed to that. At the same time, we believe there is room for improvement regarding the facilities, organisation and, most importantly, the way guests on half-board arrangements are treated.
A few amusing observations: This was the first resort we have visited where there were French fries for breakfast but not for dinner. And coffee spoons seemed to be in short supply: once the first 15 or so regular spoons had been used, disposable wooden spoons were provided instead.
Wow what a holiday, me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week and it was incredible from start to finish. The resort is absolutely huge! Lots of pools, lots of food selection, lots of restaurants just overall 10/10. We knew it’d be the best holiday when we entered through the private gates to get into the resort and private staff transfer to our room. The staff, the house keeping so so friendly, and definitely catered to your needs. Also the night time entertainment was great!
Perfect Vacation! Highly Recommended
We spent almost a week at Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort and enjoyed every moment. The service at the hotel is truly outstanding—the staff and management are extremely friendly, kind, and always happy to help with anything. The rooms are exceptionally clean and very well maintained.
There is plenty to do at the resort: fantastic pools, a private beach, and great activities for children that kept them happy and engaged. The food was delicious, fresh, and offered a rich, diverse selection to suit everyone.
I highly recommend booking a stay here—we will definitely be coming back!
A remarkably beautiful place with a distinctive Greek architectural style and very friendly staff. The food caters to every guest's tastes, but the Greek cuisine, in particular, is refined and absolutely exquisite—a true delight. I especially loved our room, which offered a panoramic view of the sea—the kind of view that makes you eager to return to this wonderful place. I would certainly come back in the near future; thanks for everything.
One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and definitely not what I would expect from a 5-star luxury resort.
I came here with my family expecting to relax and enjoy our vacation together, but from the beginning, the experience was extremely disappointing. They placed our family members in rooms far away from each other, even though we were traveling together. Every day we were given different information and different answers, with no consistency and no proper solution.
I was also genuinely shocked by the lack of basic services. There is no room service, no kettle in the room, and no iron. These are very basic things that I would expect from any good hotel, especially a property claiming to be five-star.
The room itself was another disappointment. The cleanliness was not good, and the furniture looked old, worn out, and heavily used. The overall condition of the room simply does not reflect a five-star standard.
I booked an all-inclusive stay, yet I honestly cannot understand what I am paying for. There are very few useful services or facilities that actually make the stay comfortable or convenient. Even the food was extremely disappointing. The quality was very poor, the food was bland and lacked flavor, and there were meals I simply could not eat.
Worst of all is the way some of the staff treat guests. I asked for one bottle of water, and a staff member actually raised his voice at me and told me, “We have nothing for you.” I was shocked by this response. This is not how guests should ever be spoken to.
The staff attitude in general has been rude, unhelpful, and far from professional. Instead of feeling welcomed and taken care of, we have spent our vacation dealing with poor communication, inconsistent answers, disappointing food, inadequate room standards, and unacceptable service.
For a hotel marketed as a luxury 5-star all-inclusive resort, the experience has been far below expectations. Luxury is not just a nice location or beautiful photos; it is about service, cleanliness, comfort, hospitality, and respect for guests. Unfortunately, our experience here has lacked all of these.
This has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had.
