Vangelis Hotel & Suites

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and enjoyed absolutely everything! The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious and fresh dishes every day. A special thank you to the animation team – Fedor, Nastya, and Artem! They were energetic, friendly, and made every day fun and entertaining for both adults and children. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Kristina for her kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. Our room was cleaned every day and was always spotless. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There is also a bus stop right next to the hotel, making it easy to travel around the area. Thank you to the entire hotel staff for a wonderful vacation! We would be happy to come back again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This was our second time staying at the Vangelis and we were so glad that we had chosen to return here. The hotel is perfect in every way. The staff in all areas are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They are all very knowledable, friendly and greet you every day in a warm & cheerful manner, making us feel like old friends. The adult pool is a beautiful place to relax and unwind, sunbeds were always available at all times of the day & the staff adhere to the 18+ only rule. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious food, different theme nights daily & catering for every taste possible. Konstantinos & Maria in the restaurant were so friendly, an absolute credit to the hotel. Being right in the middle of the Protaras strip makes the location excellent & although it's right in the heart of the resort, there was no noise disturbance. Our room was upgraded on arrival & as we were returning guests, a bottle of wine and a welcome card was waiting in the room. Because we arrived at 4am, they also provided sandwiches & a fruit platter, special little touches which make The Vangelis stand out from the rest. All in all, we had a fantastic time and we will absolutely be returning again. Protaras is our favourite place and The Vangelis is just perfect! Thank you for making our holiday so special. Xx

We have just spent 10 wonderful days in July at Vangelis Hotel & Suites, and our stay was simply perfect. We couldn't fault a single thing from start to finish! Top-notch room and facilities We stayed in one of their suites, which was absolutely ideal for our family of four. A huge bonus for us was having air conditioning in both rooms, which ensured a great night's sleep. The entire hotel is incredibly neat and well-maintained, and the cleaning – both in the common areas and in our room – was absolutely impeccable every single day. Fantastic staff and food The staff deserve a lot of praise! They are extremely service-minded, very friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was also a great experience; really delicious and nicely varied with different themes every day. This meant that we never got tired of the selection, even though we ate there for 10 days. Perfect location The location doesn't get much better. The hotel is situated right by the main street of Protaras, giving you lovely shopping options right outside the door. At the same time, it is only a 6-minute walk down to the most beautiful beach. We will undoubtedly give Vangelis Hotel & Suites our very highest recommendations to both couples and other families dreaming of a hassle-free and wonderful holiday. We would love to come back!

Even two weeks after returning home, we are still smiling whenever we think about our holiday and felt the need to thank the entire hotel team for such an exceptional experience. The hotel impressed us with its beautiful surroundings, wonderful atmosphere, and above all, its amazing staff. Throughout our stay, everyone was kind, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, varied, and there was always something delicious to choose from. Our biggest thanks go to the Executive Chef and the entire kitchen team. Our son has a very restricted diet – he must follow a gluten-free, low-histamine, and lactose-free diet. Before our holiday, we were very worried about how we would manage, as finding suitable food for him is never easy. However, we were truly amazed by the care and dedication shown by the chef, who prepared meals specially tailored to our son's dietary needs every single day. We sincerely appreciate that your hotel offers such personalized care for guests with special dietary requirements. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy our holiday to the fullest, without stress, worries, or constantly thinking about what our son would be able to eat. This kind of genuine care, professionalism, and kindness is something truly special and very rare to find. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for everything you did for us. We returned home not only with wonderful memories but also with the feeling that there are still places where guests are genuinely cared for and made to feel at home. Be careful of the thieves!! The hotel is nice, reception and bar staff nice but dont trust them!! The second day we were there my daughter's pyjamas disappeared from her bed while we were at the pool when we return to the room the beds were made the towels were changed but no pyjamas in sight to be honest at this point I thought it was going to be crazy! We live on island the day after we left the hotel I was unpacking the suitcase and realised I hadn't picked up my hair dryer ghd straighteners and curling wand from the draw at the hotel I called straight away to be told there was nothing handed in at reception I would have to wait until the next day to check with the housemaid and then I will receive a phone call, Which never happened I called again at lunch time after waiting for a phone call which I didn't receive to be told that there was no items found in the room I explained exactly where I left them under there were 110% in the drawer when we left the hotel I asked if they could check with the new person who was then in the room Which they told me they did there was none of my property there. So where did three electrical items just disappear to?? My friend was still in Protaras and called into the hotel to ask if she could show them the items which I had sent her photos of she did sore and they took her to the basement to the lost property cabinet untold to have a look in there if she could find them she could take them can they open the cupboard it was all smaller items nothing worth any value half empty tins of deodorant shower gels toothpaste bits of clothing inflatables. She Returned back up the reception where the lady give her a personal mobile number asked if i could send pictures of my items she said she was going to go to the Maids house herself and have a look in there to see if she could locate the missing items. I did send over the pictures she replied saying 'I will try to find them' I give her the benefit of the doubt and said ok please try hard because these are worth value and they are not small items which can just be easily replaced since then I have had no communication I have message three times for an update to which she reads and ignores. I will never return to the hotel and have shared my experience with others who also live in Cyprus. I hope one day karma catches the thief!! Disappointed is an understatement the one thief has spoilt the experience of the holiday!
