Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome from the very beginning.
The food was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the drinks were excellent as well. Everything was prepared with great care and high quality.
We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a stress-free vacation.
Absolutely amazing hotel, we have loved every minute of our stay! The staff are lovely, reception staff made our little girls birthday very memorable... Eva the waitress couldn't do enough, Monica, Christo and Flora were fabulously helpful. And finally introducing Kosta! Wow thank you Kosta! He is ace!
Great hotel position, facility and friendly staff, good entertainment for kids and adults during evening.
The waiters were working around the clock to keep all the buffet area clean and discarding immediately the plates.
Location is very close to the beach, but no beach chairs belonging to hotel.
Room was cleaned every day.
Reception staff was very helpfull.
Parking if can be accomudated to a closer location and a cheaper price will be a plus.
Pool water if can be warmer, the kids will be playing longer periods of time.
The sound system by the pool and terace needs an upgrade - add some peakers on the poles, wall, a subwoofer and songs to keep the ambiance in good vibes.
Maintenance around the property could be done, to rectify some visual and functional amenities.
A dedicated smoking area by the outdoor tables and sunbed chairs will be a plus. As not all people would like to inhale the smoke of the others. Same for the balcony rooms, when nighbor was smoking all the smell was felt in the room.
Thank you for the service. We had a great time, until next time hopefully you will fullfill some of the small requests.
The rooms at Grand Hotel are modern, clean, and well-equipped, with excellent air conditioning and pleasant balconies. Unfortunately, the positives largely end there.
The pool area feels dated and poorly maintained, with dirty decking and an outdated pool bar. The pool itself is very shallow, with strict rules that limit activities such as diving.
The food and drinks were extremely disappointing. Meals often appeared to be reheated leftovers, and both the food and beverages were of poor quality. Drinks in the main bar were frequently served warm. As a result, my family chose to eat and drink elsewhere for most of our 10-day stay, adding significant extra expense.
Entertainment was minimal and lacked atmosphere. Activities were limited to basic daytime options such as stretching, darts, and shuffleboard, while evening entertainment was scarce and the bar closed early, leaving little opportunity to enjoy the facilities.
Overall, while the rooms met expectations, the rest of the hotel experience fell well below standard.
We recently stayed here on a TUI package holiday and unfortunately ended up cutting our week long holiday short and flying home just two days after arrival.
On the positive side, our room was lovely. It was clean, modern, smelt fresh, and was one of the best aspects of the hotel. Some of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and worked hard throughout our stay, others were incredibly rude and had no manners. The male receptionist was incredibly helpful and polite and sorted our transfer back to the airport. And the staff member giving out our wristbands when we arrived was also very pleasant.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell well below our expectations. Before arriving, we had read the reviews and already had very low expectations, thinking it couldn’t possibly be any worse than what we were expecting, but unfortunately it was. The location was very disappointing, with very little around the area to enjoy. The food was awful. The quality was poor, and very little was appetising. We found ourselves struggling to find anything we wanted to eat and could not imagine eating there for an entire week.
The pool area is much smaller than it appears in photos, and there was very limited entertainment (if any) for both adults and children during the evenings.
For an all inclusive resort, the drinks offering was very disappointing. Most branded drinks were not included, meaning you had to pay extra for recognisable alcohol brands. Soft drinks were also generic alternatives rather than well known brands such as Coca-Cola.
To add to our concerns, we became temporarily stuck in one of the lifts after it dropped a floor and a half, which was quite unsettling however this could have been due to the storm. The lifts are also very small and only really fit four people at a push, making them inconvenient during busy periods. On our final day, we had to wait over 15 minutes to use the lift. We were on the 8th floor so the stairs weren’t an option with full suitcases and hand luggage.
Overall, while the room and some staff were good, the location, food, facilities, and entertainment were not what we expected from a week long all inclusive holiday. We genuinely couldn’t imagine staying for the full week and chose to return home early.
The most enjoyable aspect of this ‘holiday’ was waiting for our flight home at the airport.
