Such a fun and relaxing stay in the heart of Bansko, a 2-minute walk from the central train and bus stations!
LOVED that this was a truly all inclusive stay: food, drinks, board and spa access. The spas and restaurant are connected so you can easily go up for lunch during your spa visit.
Really appreciated that there was also a section of the spa dedicated to hotel guests, which seemed more enjoyable for families that were staying on-site.
We took advantage of the shuttle that runs between the Grand Hotel Bansko and Pulse Therme Banya, their sister spa, which was also incredible!
Absolutely loved our time here on our summer holidays, we will be back during the winter for a ski trip!
I had a great stay at the Grand Hotel Bansko and would definitely consider coming back. One of the highlights of my experience was the exceptional service at the reception—Daniela in particular was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional.
The food options at the hotel were also impressive, with a wide variety of choices that catered to different tastes. Everything I tried was fresh and well-prepared, which made dining at the hotel a very enjoyable part of the stay.
Another standout feature was the spa. The hotel offers many spa options, and I was especially impressed with the newly opened wing. The addition of both indoor and outdoor heated pools really elevated the experience and made it perfect for relaxation, regardless of the weather.
Overall, the combination of excellent service, great food, and top-tier spa facilities made for a very pleasant and memorable stay.
I came here for a teambuilding which was great experience but would have been better if a few things were considered from the hotel.
-Cards - we were told because of our numbers we cannot have two cards per room and we had to always ask someone from reception to come and open. That was not communicated to everyone so we were awoken by people trying to wake up their roommates. For a four star hotel to not have at least two key cards per room is a ridiculous notion and does not correspond to the price paid.
- Cleanliness - If I leave aside the fact the main hotel room base is outdated and needs freshening up, I cannot say the same for the hygiene in the rooms. Upon arrival our bathroom was dirty and left the way previous guests have left it. This is unacceptable. Carpet is also really dirty. I read other comments saying time and again similar stuff for years and I do not see management doing anything to address that.
- Employees - They were good but I was disappointed in the bartenders’s stuff skills. I mean, you put a bar there and say you make cocktails, yet your stuff is not educated on how to make the most basic ones. And this is not their fault! This is management’s fault.
I had an incredible experience at the Grand Hotel in Bansko. Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The spa is absolutely amazing—I loved it so much and found it to be one of the highlights of my stay.
The food is fresh, delicious, and offers great variety. / OMG you have to try the Burek /banitza!!!……The entire hotel is spotless and very well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout my visit.
What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone is extremely polite, professional, and attentive. The front desk team / especially Daniella/ is impressive—they are organized, efficient, and always ready to help.
The outdoor pool was so much fun and added a perfect touch to the whole experience. The atmosphere gives you that beautiful European vibe, surrounded by stylish, happy people and a great energy.
I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bansko.
An exceptionally pleasant experience at Grand Hotel Bansko! The hotel offers excellent conditions for a relaxing stay – the rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to help.
The SPA area is of a high standard, and the new facilities contribute to a truly relaxing experience. The food is разнообразна and delicious, and the atmosphere is calm and enjoyable.
I would gladly visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and quality!
