We recently stayed at HVD Club Miramar in Bulgaria, and it was an absolutely wonderful hotel. The rooms were well-equipped, and we appreciated how the minibar was restocked daily. The cleaners were fantastic, and we were really impressed by the staff who kept the gardens and communal areas spotless at all times—something we really value. The entertainment team was fantastic, and the kids’ club was simply incredible. My child, who is neurodiverse and usually anxious about such things, absolutely loved it. He couldn’t wait to join, and the team kept him engaged and included without any pressure. While we were a bit disappointed by the limited restaurant options and the lukewarm buffet on quieter days, these were minor setbacks. The main communal areas were fantastic, the pool was fabulous, and the cocktails—along with the Bulgarian rosé—were absolute highlights. We would definitely return, as it was a truly special stay.
We are very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The animation team was fantastic and provided great entertainment every day, making our vacation even more enjoyable. The entire hotel complex is very clean and well maintained. We also loved the beach, which is beautiful and kept exceptionally clean.
The only thing we would like to point out is the cleanliness of the dishes. Unfortunately, the plates and cutlery were not always properly clean, and we believe this is an area that could be improved.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel is great, services at very high standards, everything clean, perfect, very nice staff. Meal excellent, even for my very strict diet - there is a special meal table for toddlers in the dining area, so I could take just vegetables, mashed potatoes etc.
Wifi full, working everywhere in the hotel area.
Beach excellent, enough chairs, very clean (the staff is cleaning it all the time).
The only thing that suprised me is that there are no bins for plastic trash. Drinking water is in plastic bottles, ie a lot of plastic waste. It seems to me that they are not recycling in Bulharia (?).
Our first impression after one day was mixed, but I wanted to update my review after the way the hotel handled an issue we encountered.
When we first arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not working. After speaking with the management, they offered us another room, which was actually an upgrade with a pool view. The air conditioning works perfectly in the new room, and despite facing the pool, the sound insulation is excellent—we can hardly hear any noise from outside. I really appreciate that the management found a good solution.
The food has been very good so far, with a wide variety of options. The pool and beach facilities are excellent, and the hotel is especially well suited for families with children thanks to the many activities and amenities available.
The rooms are ok, maybe a bit outdated, but the fact that the sound isolation is so good, makes it a perfect choice for us.
Overall, the hotel has made a much better impression after resolving our initial problem. I will update this review again at the end of our stay if anything changes.
Everything was awesome. Food, location, very clean everywhere. The view from the room was so beautiful. The beach was clean and there was always something to do. The team from kids club, amazing girls. I felt safe letting my daughter with them.
We had a wonderful vacation. 🩷
