We had an absolutely amazing stay at Tasia Maris Hotel in Ayia Napa. Everything from the facilities to the food and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the pool area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
A special mention must go to Stylianos (the manager), who truly made our stay exceptional. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for guests stood out from day one. He always greeted us with a smile, was happy to help with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was perfect. Staff like Stylianos are a real credit to the hotel and are one of the reasons we would happily return.
The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and great quality throughout our stay. Combined with the fantastic location and outstanding service, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.
Thank you to Stylianos and the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Overall I’d rate my stay 4/5.
The hotel has a lot going for it. The staff were fantastic from start to finish – always welcoming, polite and helpful. A special mention goes to the dining staff, who really stood out with their excellent service. The food was also very good, with a wide selection every day, and the pool and spa facilities were great and well maintained.
The main downside was the room. We booked for three people but were given what was clearly a standard double room with a single bed squeezed in where the table would normally be. It made the room feel very cramped and there wasn’t enough space for three adults. The room also needs some TLC, as there was mould on the curtains and especially in the bathroom, which was disappointing.
Despite the room issues, the positives outweighed the negatives. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, great facilities and excellent staff, so I would stay here again. I’d recommend it for couples, families and groups of friends, but I’d advise anyone booking for three people to check they’re getting a room that’s actually designed to accommodate three guests comfortably.
Booked a 10 day holiday. Food is good. Theme nights. Plenty to choose from. We had the basic swim up room on all inclusive. You only get the sun from around 9.30 am through to 12.30. Then you either go to the swimming pool area or move to the beach. You have to pay for the sun beds and parasol. Nice beach though. Rooms were cleaned everyday with towel changes also. Very nice staff. Always busy though.
PROS:
Ideal location, lots of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Sandy bay beach is literally just across the road.
All the public areas of the hotel are kept spotlessly clean.
Our room was well serviced by the maids who were all pleasant and friendly.
The aircon in our room worked well.
The food was good, with plenty of choice, it waswell cooked and served hot.
If you need a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the main pool, there is a small pool and a few sun loungers at the side of the hotel.
CONS:
It can get rather noisy at times, the evening entertainment can be very loud until 2300 if you have a pool view room.
Our room needed a bit of tlc, the bathroom was tiny with no storage space apart from the back of the sink.
Some of our bedlinen was grey, not very nice to look at.
You have to get up really early to nab a sunbed, there were not enough available some days so people went down to the beach instead.
Our main problem was with the staff in the restaurants, most of them were youngsters who were unsmiling and gave the impression they didn't want to be there.
It was also obvious that returning guests are given priority over the others. We were ignored for 30 minutes one day and 20 minutes the next day at lunch while returning guests often in groups of 4 to 6 were shown to their table and served before us.
In conclusion it was a bit of a disappointment and it did not meet our expectations.
We stayed here for a week all inclusive, first day we didn’t get here till 11:30PM so we missed out on food and drink the first day, we were given a awful plastic sandwich that was rock hard and was inedible. The food was decent through the week, breakfast isn’t great. Lunch is a set menu with plenty of options, dinner is a buffet which had a variety of different things every night. The drinks were local and tasted like petrol. Our last day you get your all inclusive wrist band cut, you only get to use the all inclusive bar until 12 o’clock with a choice of dinner/Tea. After a week’s stay we only got 5 days of all inclusive. We personally wouldn’t return, but is a nice hotel for the area of ayia Napa.
