Spacious rooms, minor problems with the room but they are very helpful and always come to help very quickly. They have tasty cocktails by the pool with good strength and beautifully presented by Rakesh at a beautiful location. Very friendly staff! Greetings from Belgium.
Visited the hotel as a surprise for my 40th Birthday end of February. Upon arrival our room was decorated to celebrate the occasion and plenty of room in our suite/apartment with our own cooking facilities, separate dining space, private balcony overlooking the pool and the comfiest bed we've ever slept on. The hotel staff went above and beyond for our stay, although end of Feb they opened the pool due to having warmer weather so was able to fully experience the amenities. Didn't book breakfast but visited 1 morning and paid for the buffet. Plenty of choice for a breakfast buffet. The location itself is beautiful with bay views to one side and greenery to the other. Direct bus access, local convenience store, few cafes and restaurants and truck stop stalls within a minutes walk from the hotel. Visited a beautiful restaurant 7 minutes walk away called Apulia.. not to be missed! Most places we accessed by uber, Valletta approx £14 which is the most we paid to get to anywhere with other places coming in under approx £9 a journey. Such a fantastic stay here at the hotel and will definitely be returning. Thanks you
I am giving 4 stars and not 5 because it needs update but they are refurbing slowly. Its beautiful views right by harbour fab pool briliant helpful staff. On a slight hill but its very short distance 2mins. By supermarket and cafe few restuarts. Bus stop life saver 2 euro and taxi ate cheap. Visit popeye village fantastic not to far from hotel think i paid 12 euro back and got the bus there. Its a beautiful place
I recently stayed at Xemxija Bay Hotel. It was a basic hotel, but cheap and cheerful. The rooms were cleaned daily and so were the towels. The staff were amazing, especially Riath, who made sure everything was ok in my room. I thought my air con was broken and when I asked Riath about it, he immediately came to my room to check it- it wasn’t broken, I just couldn’t figure it out. The staff couldn’t have done anymore. The pool bar was again basic, but nice vibes. There’s not a lot in the area, but we found a nice, clean and cheap restaurant just down the street from the hotel. Taxis were also very cheap getting around. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
Basic hotel But suited use Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels Air con was freezing as it should be Only down fall was the balcony wasn't big enough to sit on and unfortunately was not the best view ..so if you like a view upgrade when u book .. rooms had fridge and a kettle .. hair dryer and a hob .... unfortunately no complimentary tea or coffee .... Bed were single but put together. We had breakfast which was ok Not much choice but I'm not fussy Sasages ,eggs , beans and bacon Or cheese and ham ...toast and cereal.coffee and juices .....some fruit daily could of done with more fruit if anything. Pool area we all ways got a bed never had to rush and I liked the added bonus of the raised sun bathing areas ...so u had privacy if u wanted....we opted after day 2 to go to harbour 5 mins walk were you could sunbathe and steps into the sea... heaven!! Only a supermarket close by so if u like shops don't come here....about 5 restaurants on harbour front again not much to do if you like night life ...we like quite so suited us ...... Town was 1 HR walk around harbour or bus trip .....lots of bars but not many shops .... I enjoyed my stay and personaly would stay again ....if your ok with basic and not much to do it's ideal ...if you like lots to do dont stay here !!
