⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful stay — highly recommended!
We had a truly wonderful experience at Atlantic Ocean Hotel in Crete and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful and welcoming place to stay.
From the very beginning, the hotel staff were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. We had a situation with our room, and the hotel went above and beyond to help us. They made several compromises for us and even changed our room to make sure we were comfortable. We really appreciated this level of care and flexibility — it made us feel that our needs genuinely mattered.
I would especially like to mention Mr. Andreas, who deserves a special thank you. He was exceptionally attentive, understanding and professional, and he personally took our situation to heart and did everything he could to help us. His attitude and kindness made a big difference to our stay. It is wonderful to meet someone who treats guests not simply as customers, but as people. Andreas is a real asset to the hotel!
The hotel itself is beautiful. Everything is clean, well maintained and nicely renovated. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas are pleasant, and the swimming pools are absolutely lovely. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy your holiday, and the overall atmosphere is very peaceful and welcoming.
And we have to mention the food! 😍 The food was really, really good. There was a great variety, everything was fresh and tasty, and we genuinely looked forward to every meal. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, polite and always ready to help. Their positive attitude made the whole experience even better.
Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay. Beautiful hotel, delicious food, great pools, cleanliness, lovely renovations and, most importantly, wonderful people who truly care about their guests.
A huge thank you to the whole team, and especially to Mr. Andreas, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. ❤️
We would absolutely come back again and would definitely recommend Atlantic Ocean Hotel to friends and family. Thank you for a fantastic holiday! 🌴☀️🇬🇷
We had a wonderful day at the hotel’s pool with our daughter. The area was spotless, peaceful, and perfect for families. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with something for everyone to enjoy. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for such a lovely experience. We look forward to visiting again!
A fantastic resort and one of our favourite holiday destinations! Our favourite place was definitely Jasmine Asian Restaurant. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and the service was exceptional. waitress Nikoletta explained every dish and sushi option in detail and helped us choose the perfect wine, describing each option in detail. She truly knows her products and goes above and beyond to make guests feel special. Excellent food and outstanding hospitality we would happily return!
Starting with the positives, the facilities are very beautiful and in general the hotel looks modern and neat. The pool area is perhaps one of the biggest advantages of the resort. There are several pools, water slides and activities, so especially for families with children there is really a lot of material to spend the whole day without having to leave the hotel. As for the rooms, they were clean and the daily cleaning was at a good level. However, the rooms are relatively small, The bathroom is also not particularly large. Overall, we had no problem with the cleanliness, but I think the size of the rooms could be better. The staff is a chapter in itself. There were really kind, smiling and helpful people, especially in certain parts of the hotel, and when you reached the right person the experience was excellent. On the other hand, the quality of service was not consistent everywhere. There were times when we felt that the service was more transactional. In terms of food, the main buffet has a wide variety and several themed nights, so one certainly cannot say that there are no options. There are meat, fish, salads, pasta, options for children, desserts and various themed dishes. However, the quality is a bit uneven. Some meals were very good and others quite average, while after a few days there is a feeling of repetition. Also, when the hotel is very full, the restaurant becomes quite crowded and the experience loses a bit of its comfort. For Oregano, The location by the sea is very beautiful and creates a clearly more pleasant atmosphere than the main buffet. In the Asian restaurant The concept is different, as it is not exactly the classic à la carte restaurant that one might expect from its name, but there is sushi and then a buffet for the main courses and desserts. We personally found the food to be average to decent. (A little tip for Jasmine if you need anything, ask for the blonde young waitress, probably the one in charge of the restaurant. The difference in service compared to the others waiter there is huge.) The snack bar by the pool was a pleasant solution during the day. Pizza, burgers, gyros, hot dogs. The bars were generally good, with several choices of drinks and cocktails, while the pool bar is particularly convenient during the day. Of course, queues form during peak hours. Based on the price and expectations I expected more consistency and a more attentive experience.
