We stayed at Mangia’s Sardinia Resort for 10 days with my two children, and we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, and located in a stunning area with breathtaking views of the sea. The pools, beaches, and the overall atmosphere made it the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation.
The food was varied and of high quality, with something for everyone. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after throughout our stay.
A very special mention goes to the Lime Pool Bar, which was by far our favorite place in the resort. It offered the best atmosphere, the friendliest service, and truly made our holiday even more enjoyable. We would especially like to thank Gianluca (Manager) and the bartenders Augusto and Alejandro. Their kindness, professionalism, warm smiles, and genuine hospitality made us feel at home every single day. They went above and beyond to make every visit special, and they are a real asset to the resort.
Thank you to the entire Mangia’s Sardinia Resort team for making our family holiday so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return in the future. We highly recommend this resort to families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in beautiful Sardinia.
As a top-tier Marriott member for over twenty years, I am thoroughly disappointed by the disastrous experience at this property.
This resort fails completely to deliver any semblance of the luxury and service standards associated with the Marriott brand.
The entire operation is severely disorganized, stemming from a complete lack of real management. Key decisions are left to inexperienced young employees who, despite their best efforts, lack the necessary training to uphold hotel excellence.
The presence of wild boars creates a constant sense of danger, especially around the remote parking garage where never ever someone walk help you.
When we were trapped in our car for over twenty minutes and called the reception, the response was dismissive and insensitive.
The beach experience is nothing short then a disastrous experience with no consistency and no one really taking leaderships.
Restaurants are mediocre and the breakfast is total nightmare where average food without any local speciality) is served in a very unorganized large room that is not even properly clean.
This property is far below expectations and it is surprising that Marriott continues to associate their name with such a terrible structure.
The rooms are good , besides a poor maintenance despite being a renewed structure and the completely missing gardening of the front grass.
The only valuable employee is the train driver of the morning, a local Sardinian gentleman that is always nice and ready to help and give suggestions.
Sadly , in full style of the hotel, the train driver of the afternoon / evening , the one from abroad … is good only to stop the service before the 2330 leaving constantly customer waiting at 23.00 waiting for a mean of transportation that will never arrive … every evening.
If you are a Marriott customer .. stay very far from this structure.
We stayed at Mangia's Sardinia Resort for a week in July with our two year old daughter. The location is genuinely stunning, the beach is beautiful, the pools are lovely and the food quality was fine. It is well situated for exploring the gorgeous beaches of northern Sardinia.
Unfortunately the service fell far short of what you would expect from a property claiming five star status. The majority of staff were unhelpful and did not speak English, creating constant communication difficulties. The resort is built entirely on a steep hill which with a stroller and toddler made even getting to breakfast exhausting every morning. There is no room service, housekeeping ignored specific timing requests around our daughter's sleep schedule. Dinner restaurants only open at 7pm, leaving families with young children no dining option except the pizza restaurant.
That said, we want to give a very special mention to three members of staff who were absolutely outstanding: Rhon, Adrian and Anghel. They were warm, proactive, endlessly kind to our daughter, and went above and beyond every single day. You could tell they take genuine pride in their work and are exceptionally well trained in hospitality. They genuinely saved our stay and we are so grateful for their dedication and hospitality.
Beautiful location, significant room for improvement on service and management.
My stay fell far below what I expected from a 5-star resort and an Autograph Collection property.
Roberto and Emilia were excellent and deserve recognition for their kindness and professionalism. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was marked by poor organization, an overwhelmed front desk and limited willingness to resolve problems.
On my final day, I requested a late check-out and was willing to pay the €60 fee, but it was denied. The refusal itself would have been understandable; what was not acceptable was housekeeping knocking on my door and pressuring me to leave from around 8 a.m., well before the official check-out time.
I strongly recommend caution before booking. An experience like this can negatively affect precious days of a holiday. I would not return, and this stay significantly reduced my confidence in the Autograph Collection brand.
I had a wonderful stay at Mangia’s Sardinia resort from May 18-22, 2026. The location, right next to the beach, was ideal and extremely picturesque. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. I proposed to my girlfriend on this trip and the hotel staff went to great lengths to make the occasion special and memorable, including by decorating our room and providing chilled Italian wine, which made our return to the room following my proposal especially romantic. I would like to give a special shout out to Jake Woodhouse, an Executive Assistant Manager at the hotel, who helped make my engagement during my stay at Mangia’s extraordinary. I’m also very grateful to Rose for her decorating my room the evening of my proposal, and to Rhohel Sumanting, Anghel, and Adrian for their tremendous assistance in addressing and fulfilling our requests. I also enjoyed the inclusive buffet breakfast, which offered a variety of items. Finally, I enjoyed the daily activities offered by the hotel, including the tennis lessons. In that regard, I’d like to give a shout out to Raphael, the tennis instructor.
