The worst hotel I have ever been. Yes, I heard that turkey experiences hard economical times, but I didn’t expect this…
Well, I can name three pros of this hotel:
-first line - close to the sea
-kind & friendly barmen
- food is good enough - you won’t be poisoned
Everything else is such bad as possible.
This is the first time when I had to come to reception for so many times. Wow. Is this how holidays look like?
Staff is absolutely unfriendly except a few persons.
Staff means everything - they should make you smile & laugh
Client relationship dept - the woman there is like from the nearest Bazaar - absolutely unable to solve the issue and moreover she doesn’t want to
There were a lot of little things that happened day to day and made whole vacation is as terrible as possible
No towels, shower gel ended right in the middle of bathing … etc
You know? There is another hotel close to the Saphir - Turtas - it has 4 stars and yeah maybe older rooms. But wow, how much is staff good there! Can’t believe there is such a difference
And the last thing. You know what the hotel presented at my bday? The plate of apples, oranges and peaches! Wow. What did I receive in another hotels? Sweet cake with the text “happy birthday”, bottle of champagne… pics are attached
This is a shame :) I would expect this from 2-stars hotel, but 5-stars…
No good luck to you
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommend!
Everything about our experience at Hotel Saphire was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the **staff and service were at the top level**—attentive, professional, and welcoming.
The food was absolutely delicious with a fantastic variety, and the entire hotel has a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
A special, massive thank you goes to **Enes from the Animation team**! He truly is one of a kind and was undoubtedly one of the best parts of our stay. Enes is always positive, incredibly helpful, and genuinely friendly with everyone. We have so much gratitude for him and the amazing energy he brings. Thank you, Enes, for everything you do for all the guests! We will miss you.
We will definitely be back at first posibility.
Following my visit last year, I was browsing hotels and decided to take another visit to Saphir after enjoying such great service and an amazing stay.
The staff are incredibly friendly and are eager to assist you. Big thank you to the chef Tamer, the animation team’s Enes & Mustafa, Mr. Işık and Ms. Gulnar.
Definitely eager to visit again. Such amazing service, great views and decent food.
I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. One of the biggest issues was the large number of cats around the property. Unfortunately, this is not managed properly — there is a strong smell of cat urine in some dining areas, which makes it very unpleasant to eat.
Another serious problem was the behavior of certain guests. In particular, there were groups speaking Russian who were repeatedly disruptive — one guest was approaching others inappropriately, behaving erratically, and playing loud music from a large speaker, which made it very difficult to relax.
What was even more disappointing is that the staff did not take any action, seemingly because this individual is a regular visitor. This creates the impression that guest comfort and basic rules are not being enforced.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but these issues significantly affected the quality of the stay.
Update: After posting my initial review, I noticed a clear improvement. It seems the staff took the feedback seriously and started addressing the issues. The situation with disruptive guests was handled, and overall order was restored. I appreciate that the hotel responded and took steps to improve the experience.
My 10 day stay at the Saphir Hotel has been absolutely incredible! I did not know what to expect as it is my first time in Turkey and I have come with my family. Initially we had an issue with my England bank but the hotel staff were wonderful and extremely helpful and they allowed me to pay the following day as they welcomed us into the hotel room which was very neat and tidy and as I’d hoped very comfortable (which was my priority for sleep) the resort is be the family friendly and your constantly surrounded by positivity and happy family’s all around (not obnoxious at all, if you wanted a romantic stay). On the first day I have met one of the entertainment team Enes, for me he was the main star of the holiday and he would find me anywhere in the resort and personally update me and my family on any events going on and was always making sure we had a blast and was always involved with the shows and the water sports. Honestly his commitment was the difference between a good and an unforgettable holiday, incredible young man, very respectful and well spoken I would love to invite him to England one day. That about sums up this resort for me and I would no doubt be coming again. Thank you all!
