Just came back from an exceptional 10 days at this fabulous establishment. As a family we had a brilliant time and it really delivered. We went all inclusive and also paid for the extra platinum treatment and it was truly worth it. Felt like royalty in this luxurious yet family friendly hotel. Would recommend it. We had pondered and pondered over booking this as some reviews made us doubt our selection, but we are so very glad we came. Would definitely contemplate coming back. Food great, pools great, staff great, location great and the trips to the nearby waterpark were brilliant too. Simply awesome 👍
Our first time in Cyprus and boy have we struck gold. The hotel is amazing. On entry you are faced with a large reception area and plenty of seats, which is a welcome sight if you have been travelling all day. The staff on reception could not be more welcoming and attentive, extremely eager to help. The lobby bar is well stocked and easily accessed. The food is superbly presented, warm and delicious. As an adults only hotel we were surprised at the proximity of the family hotels but the hotel has maintained the adult basis and the peacefulness around the pool. The beach is on the doorstep and of course, open to everyone bit really pleasant.
We are still staying at Leonardo Cypria Bay on an all inclusive basis, and overall the experience has been very good. The room is perfectly fine, the hotel is clean and well maintained, and the service is good. For families with children, the hotel is a very good choice. The pools, facilities, and activities are enjoyable, and the children have plenty to do. The main weakness for us is the food. The food itself is tasty and there is a good variety, but many of the meat dishes include dairy products such as cream, cheese, or butter, even when it does not seem necessary. Allergens are clearly marked, which is helpful, but for guests who are allergic or sensitive to dairy, the available choices become quite limited. In our opinion, more dishes could easily be prepared without dairy and still maintain the same quality. Overall, this is a good, clean, and pleasant hotel, especially for families with children. With more dairy free food options our experience could be even better.
So, first of all, I have to say, that we already have been in more than 10 different all inclusive hotels in Cyprus. This one is not bad in general. The territory is beautiful and clean. I liked breakfast, cause it has great variety of food. The cleaning service also was nice. As for downside: WiFi signal is very poor, even if you're sitting at the main lobby, the signal is on and off. Also as we had an early flight I asked to prepare a small sandwiches (we were 3 people only - me and my daughters), but the manager said that the kitchen opens at 7am (we checked out at 6:30am) so thay can't provide us with any food. This is weird for the 4stars hotel. But again, in general, the hotel was nice, and we definitely enjoyed our vacation there. P.S. I put 4 stars for location, cause the hotel itself doesn't have a direct exit to the sea, so if you're see fan as we are, you need to walk either left or right side (5-6 min walk) where there is s public beach.
We recently stayed at this hotel with our three-year-old and overall had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was good. There are just a few things worth mentioning for families with young kids. Most of the pool area has very little shade, so it gets quite hot during the day. Also, one of the main indoor play areas is only for ages four and up, which was a bit disappointing for us. One small but surprisingly memorable detail: none of the salt shakers in the dining room seemed to work properly, which became a running joke during our meals. All in all, we had a great time. What you see is what you get, and we left with good memories. With a bit more shade and a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.
