What a beautiful hotel. We booked a suite with a balcony overlooking the lake for two nights as a special wedding anniversary present. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was exquisite, the bed comfortable, breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. We dined in the Grand restaurant and even that was perfect. The thermal pool was wonderul, as was the afternoon I spent on the bathing lounge lakeside. It was also a treat having 3 saunas to choose from. And of course the view! I have noticed that others have commented on the hotel being worn. We loved that as it gave character and a reflection of its history.
Had a beautiful stay at Grand Hotel Toplice. The staff are considerate and attentive. The rooms are really classic, old world, beautiful. We rented a boat via the hotel to row out to the church and it was really special. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. It was lovely to lay out by the lake in the reserved chairs for hotel guests - staff brought out cold towels to keep us comfortable. And the hotel breakfast was a really superb spread. A special hotel!!!
Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The concierge was very helpful and friendly. Gave us a great recommendation and helped us book an authentic Slovenian meal for dinner. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful. For a touristy area, we found the hotel to be quiet and peaceful. The complimentary breakfast had great sausages, pastries, coffee and made to order options as well. Can’t recommend this place enough
I truly cannot say enough kind words about the staff at this hotel, especially Anja who went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful and was overall just delightful to interact with. I found the facilities to be beautiful and elegant, and while of course the style is older this adds to the charm. The breakfast spread is amazing with both buffet and à la carte options included. We stayed for the fixed menu dinner and it was also wonderful. Lots of extras included like an hour row boat, welcome drinks, and use of their thermal pools and sauna. The location and view cannot be beat. We wish we could have stayed longer but are very grateful for the superb hospitality we received here.
We had a wonderful two-night stay at Grand Hotel Toplice. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, with a special mention for the young lady at reception who was absolutely lovely. The car service is a great touch (they park and bring your car back on request), and the views over Lake Bled are simply stunning. The hotel is very calm, so you sleep extremely well. The restaurant is excellent, breakfast is amazing, and the spa (thermal pool, hammam, etc.) makes the whole experience even better. A beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful people — we loved it.
