Just arrived back after a gorgeous week at this hotel, upon arrival i let reception know i was 5 months pregnant and staff were just incredible with us. Adapted cocktails to make them non-alcoholic for me and just overall we loved our stay here. The room was absolutely gorgeous and so was the rest of the hotel, we were very happy with the food choices and being a fussy eater i still always had something to eat. Cakes in the afternoon were absolutely gorgeous too!! We can’t wait to return and the location was just amazing, so much to do right on the doorstep of this hotel. Super happy with our stay and can’t wait for the next one!
After being quite skeptical about this hotel after booking it, it wasn’t as bad as everyone is saying. It’s definitely not a 4 star but perfectly acceptable and nothing terrible.
I totally agree with the main issues of the hotel such as the lack of sun loungers and the lack of variety/ space in eating area. The lack of the variety of the food made my partner and I eat out more than we had intended which was an added expense. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable either as my partner had a bad back he didn’t sleep great at all. The pool is also way too small for the number of guests, same for the restaurant. My partner would also need to set an alarm at 7am every day we wanted to sit by the pool and have a lounger as otherwise there wouldn’t be any. There was a lack of entertainment too but we weren’t too bothered by that.
I loved the chocolate cake and the ice cream, it was great you could eat as much as you please! I did rely on the spaghetti a lot though as options were limited but, again, it didn’t bother me too much.
The staff were friendly, one woman who works in the restaurant was really lovely, she had pink hair and couldn’t be more helpful and kind. The housekeepers also went above and beyond and cleaned my shoes for me as I had been to the beach the night before and hasn’t cleaned them myself yet- this was not expected by any means, but was much appreciated and very kind.
As our flight was at 11pm the hotel kindly let us use the all inclusive services all day even though we had checked out. They didn’t have to do this and so it was much appreciated.
We would like to sincerely thank the bartenders for their outstanding service. They were always friendly, welcoming, and professional. The drinks were prepared with great care, and they were happy to recommend cocktails and accommodate special requests. Their positive attitude and excellent service created a wonderful atmosphere at the bar every day. They truly made our all-inclusive holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you for your hard work and hospitality!
When we arrived at the hotel it was straight into upgrade your from for an extra cost. The traveler's tax is cash only as a warning to anyone else coming as normally this can be paid on card. We were given a room across the road from the hotel with a plug socket that came off the wall and a balcony that was shared as an ajoinong room but the lock to the balcony door was broke. Asked for an exchange and told to come back tomorrow am. The basically forced to upgrade to a new room and pay extra. The hotel is very cash only for purchases and tourist tax so make sure you have some Euros. The superior room is like a premier inn style okay for a base.
The food was not very Greek and average sort of school dinner meals tbh. Edible but not great and very repetitive. Drinks throughout the day are limited so mainly soda and alcohol after breakfast.
Pool area is nice sun loungers do get reserved on a morning, and are the plastic uncomfortable ones. Lots of cats roaming in the area and the mess they make isn't always cleaned up.
I spent a week at this hotel. Let's start with the positives: the hotel buffet has a wide selection, and the food is good but not exceptional, which is perfectly in line with the price. The pools are beautiful and have plenty of lounge chairs. The open bar has friendly and very fast bartenders. The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to nightlife. The negatives, however, are: the hotel has several facilities; the main one is beautiful and renovated, while the others are a little less impressive (some more so than others). I noticed a balcony in the less impressive facility overlooking the main pool that has a very dark damp stain and is constantly dripping. This balcony overlooks an outside sidewalk, which is extremely dangerous for passersby. Furthermore, in another facility, the one across the street from the main pool (the one where I stayed), I noticed cracks in the balcony above mine. These facilities definitely need to be renovated (and in the case of the damp stain, quickly to prevent pieces of the balcony from falling on passersby's heads).
Also the rooms of the main building are better than the others (some are still good rooms, others are not) because they are premium rooms or something similiar.
