Stayed overnight while attending an event in the area and I must say the hotel was impeccable. I genuinely couldn’t fault it in any way — it ticked all the boxes for what I look for in a hotel stay.
Everything was ultra clean, chic and stylish, with thoughtful touches such as complimentary refreshments and lovely bathroom accessories. A big plus for me was the large, plush towels — always a sign of a good hotel!
Breakfast was very nice with a wide choice of continental and hot options, as well as speciality coffee.
This is definitely one hotel I would not hesitate to book again.
5* plus!
This is the second time I have stayed here and I joined the membership scheme on booking. The price was competitive for such a good location. I booked the basic room but was upgraded on arrival. The rooms are on the small side but have everything you need for a short stay, I stayed two nights. If you were staying longer hanging space for clothes would become a problem. I requested an ironing board and iron which were brought to my room. Each night you stay you get a free large glass of wine and a selection of cheese. It was good cheese and the wine was very nice. The breakfast selection is rather limited but the service was good. All staff are pleasant and polite. Everywhere was clean.
Great hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Holborn tube station and within walking distance of most of London attractions. All the staff we spoke to were very polite and helpful. We arrived in the morning and left our bags, when we returned we found they had been taken to our room for us. The room was very small but as expected from hotel website. It was very clean and suitable for a short stay. We will definitely consider staying again
Very good spot in the middle of London, very easily walked everywhere during my trip.
Took the King room, pretty small for that moniker, but all the rooms seemed small when booking. You better be close with the person youre traveling with, the shower and bathroom are almost see-through for some reason and theres gaps in the door.
Also there is basically no room/shelfs to lay down any stuff, one stool and thats it. 2 hangers and 2-ish clothing hooks. Was super quiet, except for saturday when the local bar (maybe?) was blasting music up till 3am. Not the fault of the hotel though. No room service for some reason, but the staff do make stuff like food which you can order and take to your room. They cleaned the rooms well.
Decently priced.
Staff was great. No complaints there.
I’m a regular at the Z Hotel Holborn and reason I come back is the price, location and service.
Today, I’d like to acknowledge Teia and how great she has been. I went over on my ankle, and can barely walk on it.
Teia bought ice to my room, offered to extend my check out and looked after me with drinks and water and more ice. She checked in regularly and I felt supported and looked after and makes me happy I stay here often.
She’s a credit to the hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️
