Friendly, efficient staff. Tiny room (typical for London though) with decent size bathroom because I booked a room with disability access. Clean, neat and comfortable & I didn't hear any street noise. The ottoman looks grubby though & the side table didn't get dusted. Great, central location. Great value especially with café style snacks, light meals and selected drinks included for the category of room I booked for GBP 200 pn. For a budget hotel, this was good.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is literally just two minutes away from Leicester Square, which is a perfect location. The underground station is also very easy to reach, making it ideal for getting around the city.
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Anything you ask, they assist you directly without any hassle. I also appreciated that you can leave your luggage at the hotel on your last day, which is very convenient.
The breakfast was quite small, but honestly it was more than enough—you don’t really need more.
At first, I was a bit worried because of the central location and expected a lot of noise, but it was actually quite quiet and comfortable.
Overall, it was a perfect hotel experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
My partner and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel! The staff were unbelievably friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy, there is not much to complain about! The location was perfect close to everything you could need. I would recommend being a member as it calls for coffees in the morning, late check out and many more benefits! Hotel washroom doors are glass and have zero sound barrier so make sure you are comfortable with who you travel with!
All in all we will definitely be staying in Z hotels again!
I was here on business for a few days and wanted a central location that fit my employer's guidelines on cost per night. I picked Z hotel because of the great reviews at this location. I booked a club Queen room with a view of the street amd breakfast and snacks/drinks at the café included (a REAL bonus, particularly during a heatwave). The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for one (two would have been a bit tighter but workable). This is a simple room set up so but elegant and highly functional. The location is fantastic!! I was able to walk to my work location, various surrounding neighborhoods with plenty of options for dining and shopping. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I would stay here again and look forward to coming back.
Let's start with the pros:
The location is perfect
The rooms are clean
The washroom is fantastic
The AC works
No, for the negatives:
While the rooms are clean, the bed is pretty basic.
The rooms are also quite small, having no closet space, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase.
I was staying here for five nights on the fourth floor. For three of those five nights, the lift was broken, including the night I checked in, and the night before leaving, meaning the necessity to carry my heavy bags up five flights of narrow stairs, and now down five flights of narrow stairs. This is unacceptable for a modern hotel, which is why I marked the score down to 2 stars, one star lost for each night with a broken lift.
That said, the staff are doing the best they can with a bad situation. Unfortunately, corporate is not giving them the resources they need to make sure the hotel runs smoothly.
