We mainly chose this hotel for its location. It's a 5 minute walk from Picadilly Circus, but located in a quiet alley. We stayed in a windowless room and I got the best sleep of my life due to complete darkness. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food at the bar was delicious as well! Good value for the price, we will definitely return!
Wonderful service from maria. Fabulous breakfast. Other staff....Very professional and polite.
Small, but very affordable rooms. Very modern, clean and comfortable
One major down and one minor one:
1. ***No safety box in the room.
2. No ( small or other) exercise facility.
3.5 stars.
We stayed here during our trip to London - great central location to everything. We took the train from the airport and walked to everywhere from our room.
The room - we knew it would be small and compact, BUT the toilet was in the same plane as the bed and the door wouldnt completely close and was made of frosted glass so you could see everything. That made using the bathroom little too close for our comfort. The shower head wouldn't stay up and there was a break in the glass at the bottom of the shower too.
All in all, good location, but I probably wouldn't stay again.
This hotel is in a great location. It’s a 10 min walk to Leicester Sq and less than 5 min walk to the tube station. For a central hotel, it was very quiet. As I had booked direct and signed up to Z Hotel’s loyalty program, I was able to check in when I got to the hotel at 11.30am and got free cheese and wine each night.
The room was compact but this isn’t the kind of hotel you are going to hang out in. I booked a double room and this was fine for a solo trip but would be a tight squeeze for 2 people. I could very clearly see into the next building so I kept the blind closed the entire trip.
The bathroom has frosted glass and the door didn’t close fully. I didn’t mind as I was on my own but it could be an issue if sharing. The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great and there was a good hairdryer.
Housekeeping is available every 2 days. There was enough towels for 2 people, shampoo, body wash and a kettle with tea/coffee in the room.
If you’re looking for an affordable hotel, in a good location that provides the basics needed for a few nights in London, then this is it.
We booked for 2 rooms and both are clean and comfortable. The staffs were so helpful and kind, we were received by two beautiful, lovely ladies. Fiana was so helpful, when I asked her if she knew a place nearby doing printing for my 2 documents without hesitation she offered to help out. She saved my day, she made sure everythings is done before we leave. Karolina was so helpful during breakfast. Both ladies are approachable, accommodating and polite and will definitely book the same place if we planning to visit London again. X
